Hello all!

I'm looking at going to the Core I course in Arcadia next month (3-4-5 April '09) and wondered if anyone else was going and if so, where you were staying. Interested in a room share/car-pool situation? I have never been to California and really have no idea how to get around. It appears that LAX would be my closest airport but then I would need to get to Arcadia from there.

Would it be better to get a room in Arcadia or stay at LAX and drive up there? Whatever advice you can give is appreciated.

Burbank airport is closer. The flight is slightly more expensive, but it's about 20 min. away instead of 40. The hotel has restaurants in walking distance, so you could take a shuttle to the hotel and not have to rent a car. The shuttle from Burbank would cost less so that covers a good part of the difference in flight cost. If you look at the hotel website it lists airports and distances. If you go to www.tripadvisor.com and type in Arcadia, CA, it will show you other hotels as well and reviews, etc. (A handy site!)

P.S. Anyone know how formal the dress is? Should I bring slacks or would kakis or even shorts be appropriate?

Dress is whatever you're comfortable in. You will be lying on the floor sometimes for some of the exercises.
