Hi,apacherocks.
The Steve Urwin Australia Zoo is on the Sunshine Coast, about an hour or more south of Brisbane. There are so many lovely beaches around there, and lots of tours. Lots of accomodation, it is easy to get around. I am sure you won't have a problem and will love it. November is pretty hot. You won't need any heavy clothing. Happy holiday. |

Where to stay and what to see? Hmmmmmm.. That’s a toughie. Its like what is the best colour, the best car, the best clothing, food, etc?
Brisbane Is several hours plane flight from where I am, so I can not offer to meet you or offer a great deal of information on that part of Australia. Except I know that there are a lot of generally touristy things to see and do in that general part of Australia. Look through search engines and do your research, but I do suggest you maybe have a look at and consider perhaps a little north along the coast of Brisbane as well. The following allows you to select a month and look at temperature ranges for the region you select. There is also information about the areas. http://www.australia.com/ If you are looking for more budget accommodation, then i can suggest you look at backpacker places. They tend to be shared rooms, kitchen and public shower/toilets (segregated though). They do offer bedrooms for couples which are dearer, but still cheaper than hotels/ motels. Also, some of the backpackers have some shuttle bus services. I hope that helps This message has been edited. Last edited by: paule, |
