Hi Gerda,

Uggh...I have/had dyslexia. When growing up, I remember specifically in school, I would read pages in a book and sentences if not a paragraph would disappear. I dreaded being called on to read in front of the class. Math numbers had a way of reversing. This I would say was predominate around my early years.

As I grew up into early adulthood and became a manager in the computer field I found that I needed to be very careful going over my budgets and monthly profit and lose statements and such..Again numbers, but nothing than wasn't manageable. Actually, because I had to go over it carefully, I would find errors that accounting did. LOL

Fast forward to now, I rarely have any issues and actually I don't even recognize it any longer, if only a little when I am very tired then its a transposition in words maybe(speaking)

I don't know if that helps. I was told long time ago that I would grow out of it, I think that might be true in some aspects. From where I was as a child to now is a total transformation.

Many Blessings

Hi Mhari,
What a nice story, it is good to hear what dyslexia can 'do' to you. Thank you for your story!
I want to make a start to help people (especially children) who has dyslexia by giving them Quantum-Touch. I want to know if anybody has already good results by giving QT. Maybe someone has got QT-stories about this item. If not, I will tell you after the treatment to these children. Any information is ofcourse welcome! There is nothing to find about dyslexia at the Forum. I know, someone has to be the first!!
Greetings, Gerda

This is not QT, but Donna Eden in her book "Energy Medicine" has some very effective, easy exercises for dyslexia. I know because I have used them myself. The exercises would be effective along with QT. She is a wonderful energy person.

Hello
Since I'm quite 'new' to QT, I never had the opportunity to use it on someone affected with dyslexia. I think a multi-disciplinary approach is the best. My eldest son has an element of ADD and Dyscalculia, which is the equivalent of Dyslexia in numbers.I feel that he benefited from sessions of Bodytalk, EFT,Reiki, and a couple of sessions of Hypnotherapy also helped him to boost his self esteem and ability to concentrate.
It may be interesting to try running the energy across the head with the intention to link the hemispheres, since one theory about Dyslexia is that there is an impairment in the communication between the right and left hemispheres of the brain.
I encourage others to shed more light on the subject.

Gerda,

Nicky is absolutely correct when he recommended to send energy to the different hemispheres of the brain. I would definitely start there.

Please keep us posted on your treatments and how the children are responding. This is near and dear to my heart for obvious reasons.

Many blessings

Hi everyone!
Yes, we are getting there! I already had a treatment in my mind, like send a bright energy to the head (and link the hemispheres) and the aura and visualize the missing part. Oke, so far so good. I know how to work with EFT. Your information helps me a lot. I will check the book of Donna Eden. Thank you so much for all the information and thinking with me how to start the treatment. Ofcourse I will keep in touch about dyslexia.

Greetings, Gerda

Hi Gerda,
This is my first post!!
My son who is now 37 years old is dyslexic. This was discovered when he was 3, unfortunately there was no help in this small island of Trinidad, so i sought info from Canada( this is from an article i had read almost 10 years before my son was diagnosed!!).Of course I could not deal with it and had to have counselling.
Anyway I always send my son lots of positive healing thougts and energy. He went on to live and study in the UK for four years.
Now he is back and to my greatest suprise registers himself to do courses he would have passed up!!
Can it be that sending or offering healing light and energy really work in areas where needed??

Kweden,

I thought I would share this with you as well.

Dyslexia is an inherited condition. Researchers have determined that a gene on the short arm of chromosome #6 is responsible for dyslexia. That gene is dominant, making dyslexia highly heritable. It definitely runs in families.

Dyslexia results from a neurological difference; that is, a brain difference. People with dyslexia have a larger right-hemisphere in their brains than those of normal readers. That may be one reason people with dyslexia often have significant strengths in areas controlled by the right-side of the brain, such as artistic, athletic, and mechanical gifts; 3-D visualization ability; musical talent; creative problem solving skills; and intuitive people skills.

In addition to unique brain architecture, people with dyslexia have unusual "wiring". Neurons are found in unusual places in the brain, and are not as neatly ordered as in non-dyslexic brains.

In addition to unique brain architecture and unusual wiring, f/MRI studies have shown that people with dyslexia do not use the same part of their brain when reading as other people. Regular readers consistently use the same part of their brain when they read. People with dyslexia do not use that part of their brain, and there appears to be no consistent part used among dyslexic readers.

It is therefore assumed that people with dyslexia are not using the most efficient part of their brain when they read. A different part of their brain has taken over that function.

Gerda,

I ran across this and thought that it might help you further.

This quote is from the latest EFT newsletter that comes to my inbox about twice a week:

"Dyslexia - from significantly difficult to write a paragraph being read to her to extremely easy - turned out to be a spelling deficiency and she is now very confident at work with writing (she just has to look up the spelling of words)."

It would be worth your while visiting the EFT website www.emofree.com and searching it for "dyslexia".

Goodmorning!!
I am very busy reading (and translating) your answers. I went to the library to get the book of Donna Eden (happily it was Dutch ;-)). I know a little of Touch for Health (I) and I know EFT, so enough work to do. Can I take the weekend off??

Warm greetings,
Gerda

Hi everybody,

Finally an answer from me. I started a treatment to somebody (13) who has dyslexia. After the second time things changed quite a bit. He became more concentrated, more clear in his head. He always mixed up the foreign languages (English, German and French) especially when he had to learn them at the same time, he was always miserable before learning the foreign words. And now he is a fast learner with all the languages!

I started with QT and healing his head, linking both hemispheres, making bridges and visualize bright lights, crystal sculls, QT hippocampi and inner frontal lobes, visualized wholeness. I did chakra healing, learned him how to EFT, QT and exercises in Touch for Health (book Donna Eden).
He finds it hard to say what has changed in his body. He doesn't feel many things when I do QT. But I know there is a lot going on. For instance his problem with his knee reduced (from 8 to 4 to 0), he is much more relaxed, concentrated, his body doesn't 'shake' anymore (after one treatment). He is not used to talk about feelings, I learn him in a nice way what he can feel and how things can work (feelings, in life).
We still go on with the treatment, I asked by Touch for Health if we can continue. We already did eight treatments.
His dyslexia exists of making spelling mistakes, copy text: he forget to write letters in a word.
I know you have to let the result open, but this I still visualize to be oke.

I am very happy with the results!

Greetings,
Gerda

Gerda;

Your results sound marvelous! Since you are getting good results, I would continue what you are doing.

I too was born with Dyslexia and Dyscalculia, but my early teachers just thought I was slow. Finally, when I was 11 I had a teacher that recognized that I had a problem with reversal and transposition rather than being mentally slow. He taught me how to check myself, and overcome my obstacles. After that, I really took off academically and began leaping ahead of my fellow students in all areas. It wasn't until I was taking programming (second degree) in college that I learned what my problem was called.

I know from personal experience that brain damage CAN be healed. I didn't understand at the time, and in fact have only come to understand it in these last few months, that my intention and desire to heal brought about my transformation. You can see a post I made in October here at the bottom. I still have issues with transposition and missing pieces, but each day I am a little better.

I am so pleased that you have had such great results... it is an example to many that they too can have hope in overcoming this kind of problems.

Peace and Love;

Norman
