Okay SeaLion These are the days I treated:

3/28, 4/2, 4/6, 4/8, 4/10.

I wouldn't mind another go at this, because I forgot to flip somedays, and somedays I opted out of flipping because I was was too sleepy (prioritized other healing work). I only spent a minute or two sending, so for another trial I'd double the time.

The result: Seems to go at random. The data from this experiment seems to suggest that distant charging of water does not produce discernible taste differences - although the data set could be larger. As an interesting sidenote, it seems that I am somehow able to quite reliably "identify a taste difference", even when no charging has taken place, despite the blinds! This could mean that I can taste a temp diff < 0.1'C, or perhaps the blinds or randomization are flawed, or, it's a case of Heisenberg's law in action... More discussion to follow if I find something interesting to point out.

The next experiment will likely involve a hands-on setting.

These results are interesting to me! Here's why...

Okay, here's what I noticed.
The charging sessions on the 29th and 2nd were by far the most focused for me. After 2 April, I was very distracted by car issues (the engine in my 2002 Saab failed & had to be replaced!) for much of this time, and when I didn't have a true healing issue to focus my consciousness on, personal issues kept creeping up in my mind, and this, I'm afraid, effected my ability to give this trial my all. I knew no one's health was involved, so it was much harder to marshall my will to shut out distractions.

I think it is probably easier to focus with contact, so if you were to do this again, I would use a proxy cup to help me focus and not let little things (like my three thousand British pounds car repair!) distract me.

It seemed too easy to lose interest and focus the way this was set up. I think I needed something more to keep me focused and interested. perhaps just one week instead of three!

I'd like to invite you to do a parallel distant/touch/placebo study, and I volunteer to be the distant sender. I think, though that it would be much easier to limit it to six possible trial dates, and then I would treat on only three of the dates: I'd flip a coin to pick which three of the six.

Thanks for allowing me to participate in your study, and I'd welcome another opportunity if you decide to do it again with an easier design study for the distant energy sender.

Let's do another experiment, then! Six runs is fine; less room for achieving hard core statistical signficance, but still plenty of room for a suggestive pattern to emerge.

I'd prefer to adjust the setting so that the glasses sit next to each other (~1 foot apart) all the time. This way it would take less time to wait for possible temp diffs to even out.

The glasses will be ready for possible chargin tomorrow evening (unless I post something here saying otherwise).

Ok, let's do it! As long as the treatment container has the same symbol as before, that should do fine. I do want to know the six potential trial dates ahead of time. I'll flip a coin to decide which dates to charge.

I'll flip for each date, so there may be more or less than three charged trials.

I'll be doing all the cointosses in one sitting, not one on each day; this way I can give myself better reminders and focus.

OK, that sounds good. I haven't yet set up the glasses, I'll propose a set of dates when I have set up the first pair (probably tomorrow).
