Hello there all. I have a couple of stories to share that happened in the past week, one of them last night.

1) Last week a student of mine was getting ready for her 2nd massage treatment of the evening, and mentioned to her fellow students that she was still feeling a stomach ache. Apparently she had been dealing with a sharp stomach ache all day. Other people had tried helping her with it, including another instructor at our school, but to no avail. I said, let he try, and quickly sandwiched her stomach and started doing QT. I was only able to work for about 3 minutes directly before she had to go and get her client. I kept working on her distantly for about another 5-7 minutes, before getting distracted by some other task.

I checked in with her after the sesion was over to see how she was feeling, and she told me that the stomach ache was gone. When I saw her a week later, I asked her about how the whole thing went, and she said that the ache never came back. "Good job", I said.

2) Another student last night just before starting her shift was doubled over in her seat, and told me that she was feeling bad menstrual cramps, but that she could work through them. I said, lets see what we can do about that here.

I looked up at the clock and realized that there were barely 2 minutes to go before she had to get her first client of the night. I had no expectations of anything happening within that amount of time, but I did it anyways. I put one hand on her back and one on her lower abdomen and started breathing and sweeping like I am supposed to, and before I knew it she had to go. There were other things I had to do, so I did not do more distant work.

At the end of the night, I asked her how she was feeling and she looked at me and smiled. "Great," she said. "When I walked out of here I completely forgot about the cramping." 3 hours later, she felt a slight pressure, but the pain was completely gone.

Now THAT is something I have never been a part of as a massage therapist of 14+ years. I have helped a lot of people in those years, but never so easily, and never so completely with cases like these. Not before Quantum-Touch, that is...
