Hi,
We've been studying QT with the book and video tapes. My husband has been running energy to my head to try to help with fibromyalgia. My right side of my head has hurt for a long time, even before running any energy. I've had ringing in my ears for over a year now. It started after I had some cranio sacral therapy. The therapist I went to DID NOT do this therapy in a gentle manner. I'm wondering if anyone knows if damage could be done by doing that particular therapy in a more aggressive manner.

Today I was pressing on the sore area of my head and when I massaged a little I started to sob uncontrollably. This went on for about 30 minutes! Any clue if I was releasing emotion? I've been terribly tired since. And if I touch the spot again it triggers the sobbing. It concerns me that the practitioner did damage during the therapy I had a year ago. Any help anyone can offer would be appreciated.

Here is my post from several months ago about fibromyalgia and head pain...

I have suffered with dibilitating fibromyalgia for about 15 years, with times of remission and times of disability throughout the years. Each relapse, a different symptom would show, creating frustrating moments with doctors, family, and myself. My most recent attack left me unable to function for two months. I could not drive as this attack was neurological and I was dizzy every time I got out of bed. My elder's wife suggested I look into Quantum Touch, so I looked at this site, then ordered the book. After all tests, including MRI, came back negative, my chiropractor suggested bio cranial therapy. He thought the plates in my head were pinching the nerves. I received the book and chose to try this method instead. My husband, Bruce, and I learned the energy flow methods in the book and he treated me several times. The third session (most were over an hour) was the "curing" session. My head tilted forward on the axis. I didn't know it was tilted back so much. Then I felt the plates in my head move around. My whole body responded with energy flow sensations as the blocking was freed. That was the end of August. I am now stronger than I've ever been, and treating others regularly. As a side note: the American Medical Association has found that fibromyalgia is caused by pressure on the brain stem (my reasoning for constant chiropractic care). Chiropractic adjusts left to right, but not so much front to back. Our trusty medical doctors have chosen a different cure, feature on 20/20 some time ago: they just remove part of the axis and top two vertebrae so the pressure is relieved! I'll choose non-invasive Quantum Touch any day!

Just look for my name in the posted by section to find it. It has been nearly a year since the bones in my skull aligned and I have never been stronger in my life!

During my healing process (emotional healing took longer than that session) I found that centering on the area of pain with my thoughts always brought a memory or visual picture that, once acknowledged, released the pain. I recommend that you have your husband with you, him running energy into that spot in your head, and you put all of your conciousness into the center of the pain...don't be afraid of it...ask for help from the energy or Spirit if you need. Allow any response, be completely willing to receive the energy your husband sends and you will be amazed! THIS WORKS!

This is response to the post from Evelyn. I have been under chiropractic care since 1981. I was in a serious car accident in 1977. I develpoed fibro in 1989 and went through PT on my frozen shoulders over the next few years. I use massage, Trager, and chiropractic care to get by. I am with pain except when I sleep. I can not take pain medication because I need to function ie. work part time, drive, shop etc.
My chiropractor has helped me the most. He uses NET (emotional release happens here) and things realign some times and if not he is able to manually adjust my cranium. Unfortunately this last only a short while a day or two and then back for craial work. I have been in this cycle for over two years and want to get out. The past two years have been incredibly painful emotionally due to marriage issues. I go to counseling on a regular basis, and I eat organic.
I am a deeply spiritual personal of Christian faith and God is helping me move through, but some pain relief is what I am looking for at this point. And believe you me, I know this IS NOT a quick fix. Do you have any suggestions besides what I am doing? Thanks......

I have many suggestions for you, but let's just take this one step at a time. I, too, am deeply spiritual and of Christian faith. I believe God is working through Quantum Touch, and has brought healing into my life so I can help others. I believe he allowed me to have fibro so I would understand what others are suffering and understand the processes that create the syndrome and therefore the methods that will reverse it.

I am a licensed QT Practitioner and work very well at a distance, by phone usually. I have free long distance and use my speaker phone so holding the phone doesn't interfere with running energy. Just today I had a session with another Fibro sufferer this way, and she seemed to be helped greatly.
