I'm in two minds what to do here.

I have stretch marks. I am a guy, and I contracted them when doing some stretching exersizes. I could perfectly stretch to where I wanted, but my skin didn't seem to think so.

I think I have skin prone to them as I have them elsewhere also! Good job I can't get pregnent.

Now, in the last 3 weeks I have been using a system to get rid of them which I came across on Yahoo Answers (which I find quite a handy place to get info on all sorts from).

I am in two minds because the place where I got the system from is a website where you have to pay for membership. Now, the website is owned buy just one woman (I think), and the system has deffinetly had the desired effect so far with mine.

I think she has worked and researched hard for what she has achieved and deserves the small amount she is asking for.

On the other hand, I know how depressing stretchmarks can be and think healing knowledge of all kind should be free.

So in this case, I will tell you what I do BUT if you want it from the horses mouth then you can IM or email me and ask me for the site address. She offers a no questions asked money back garauntee also, and I don't think there is even a time limit on this. So I think you and anyone else also, should deffinetly join.

Basically, her system replicates laser removal. In short, you wet your skin in the bath, a good soaking. Then, using a wooden pegged skin massager, massage your skin with a mix of exfoliation creame and alo gel (99%). Massage till the skin is red and tingly.

Then 'polish' the skin with a lofer, rough sponge or as I use an exfoliation cloth. rinse and then apply some collegen creame, I use Trilastin SR which is rather expensive but you may find something else to use.

But, don't do this more than 2 days in a row, and then have atleast a 5 day resting period.

It also seems important not to do the same day pattern over and over, or your skin will adopt to it.

The web site I talk of has sheduals to stick to and a shed load of other information too...

It's been a pleasure to share this with you, and I hoipe if/when you see results from this method you to will also share it with others. Anyone with stretchmarks knows just how soul destroying they can be.

Well... I am sure this works great on new stretch marks, but for those of us moms who've had are marks for 10+ years...??? I just made my peace with them, I wouldn't trade them for how I earned them Wink

Thanks for sharing tho! LOL

Hi Manda.

It doesn't matter how long you have had them for, you can still attempt to lessen or get rid of them.

If you are fine with them though then thats probably the best solution.

I would Just like to say I have suffered with stretch marks since the birth of my first child over 16 years ago but since practising with quantum touch and sending myself healing to this department they have nearly gone and I had a very bad case (admitedly sometimes nothing happens but when i send and believe i deserve this treatment i have noticed great results and i would say i only have spent 15 mins a time on myself as it is harder to treat one's self (I just imagine the energy spining around my stretch marks and the results are amazing redness totally gone which was my main problem as the used to be visious please don't give up believe you deserve this and it will come

I'm new here. Just discovered QT about two months ago by browsing through my local library and running across Richard's book, and I wanted to throw in my two cents on the stretch mark issue.
Investigating and testing different natural cures is a hobby of mine and a short time ago, I read that the Chinese treatment "cupping" would benefit stretch marks. I gave it a try, as I have had stretch marks in several areas for about 10 years or so and after just one treatment so far, they have reduced in appearance about 30 or 40%. I am, of course, planning on repeating the treatment. Here is what I did: I applied a layer of massage oil to the area and rubbe it in, leaveing enough on the surface to provide some lubrication. I then took one of the larger cups in the set (about 2 inches in diameter) and used the vacuum pump that came with the kit to suction it to the skin. You'll have to do a little experimentation to find just the right level of suction, which is why it's easier to use the plastic cups with a vacuum pump rather than the fire method with the glass cups. You want enough suction that the skin rises into the cup and you feel some pulling, but not so much that the cup won't slide across the skin. So I suction the cup in the area that the stretch marks are and slowly move the cup up, down, side to side, and around over the whole area covered by the stretch marks the whole time maintaining suction. I do this for about 5 minutes until the skin gets somewhat red, then take the cup off and rub in some more massage oil. Then I'm done. You might need to restick the cup several times during the treatment if it loses suction while moving it around. You could also experiment with different lotions, aloe vera gel, comfrey ointment, etc. and see if they do any better. Hope this is helpful. I'm so glad to have found this forum. God bless.

Oops, almost forgot to include this - I also ran QT on the area for a few minutes before and after the cupping treatment, maybe that's why it seems to be working so fast.
