my Dad has a genic eye disease called retinitis pigmentosa http://www.blindness.org/content.asp?id=45 Right now his sight is desending fast. He is very open to energy healing. Tell me if you have had any success with anything similar. I am desperate to find something so he can see better.

Hi Shannon, sorry to hear about your father.

I haven't had any previous experience with this particular condition, however I have been working with my sister in law who had an MS attack last year which left her legally blind in her left eye.

She's had about 5 or 6 sessions in the past couple of months and she's told me that she's excited to get her eye examined again because her vision is returning. The dr's told her that after a year, MS damage becomes permanent and that she would never regain her sight.

I should also add that I posted for help for her on the healing requests board and several of our wonderful friends sent to her, some for several days. *thanks fambly*

During this past summer I had a lasik operation done. Something went wrong. I was losing my sight.
I used QT every time I tried to see anything.

Honker, the mini-macaw known to these pages quite well sensed my emotions and climbed my body to get to my eyes. I used the QT, while he somehow cleaned my eyelashes, making the entire thing sound ridiculous. But it worked. My sight returned, I can see again, and dont ever have a lasik done on your eyes.

I am in Utah, also. I have seen and heard wonderful things about Herbal Eyebright. You rinse the eyes everyday with it. Although it stings like crazy (cayenne in it) your eyes love it after the burning stops . Any reputable herb shop will have it. I use Dr. Christopher's. I'd love to be in the group helping with you guys!

I don't have a healing story for you. Drs. took my eyes before I knew about natural and energy healing--I was 11 and I now have prosthetic eyes. However, I'm certain that had I known about QT, Reiki, and had my ND then, I would not have had my eyes removed. I had Glaucoma and could no longer deal with the pain. I know QT will help your father in amazing ways, no matter what happens with his vision. Please keep us updated on how he's doing!

I've never worked on R.P. per se, but many years before I knew about QT I worked with a woman who was way past legally blind due to complications from diabetes. She would run sugars as high as 1200 (that's not a typo!). Most people would be in a coma or dead at that point. She underwent 8 hours of dialysis 3 times a week. One leg had been removed and the drs. wanted to remove her eyes. If she was looking at the sun she could tell that it was daytime. Otherwise her vision was a very dark gray. She couldn't see color, shapes, motion or anything else. Obviously a difficult case. We put her on a program at the clinic where I was working at the time. She had some form of treatment 6 days a week. I did acupuncture and other Chinese Medicine techniques. She also received dietary/ nutrition work which included live foods, juicing, vitamins, minerals and other supplements, homeopathy, flower essences, western and Chinese herbs, bodywork, yoga, chiropractic, Reiki, Metaphysical work, and counseling and spiritual treatment from her church. In about 6 months she could identify colors and patterns of clothing and anything else. She could describe how her therapists looked and even walk around the mall unassisted. Not too shabby for such a hardcore case but a hell of a lot of work to get her to that point. What worked? Who knows? Maybe it was just the love from all the people who were working with her. I wish that we had known QT then. We also managed to save her other leg that the drs. wanted to remove because of a nasty infection. The point here is that it is possible but it may take a bit of work, maybe not with QT. If any single therapy could help your father I truly believe that QT is that technique. It is often said on this board that we truly don't know the limits of this work. That said however there can be a lot or reasons for your father's "disease" and the QT might need a little help. As you can see from my story, maybe a lot of help. Be patient and don't be afraid to explore all the options. Don't get locked into searching for that "miracle cure or treatment", sometimes it takes a combination. There are many wonderful people on this board who are more than happy to help in many was including sending energy/love, suggestions, referrals, networking, etc. Take advantage of it.
