Hiya lovely people,
my son who is eleven has a pet dwarf hamster - Smoky Joe - cute as can be! yesterday he came into the kitchen, 'Mum, there's something wrong with Smoky Joe'. The poor little thing had a big cut across his neck and had pulled out patch of fur surrounding it. He was very shaky and things did not look good. My son started running energy joined by a friend of his to whom he had taught QT. Then I ran some, joined by husband Ben and another friend of ours to whom we had given Richard's book! All in all, Smoky got about two hours of work from two eleven yr olds and three adults. This morning, the cut had completely healed! It's as if nothing happened (barring the bald patch - which we are working on!). Hurray!!

Hi Nicola, so this is what you get up to when you're not in the chat/healing room! Well done, and lucky little Smoky Joe to have you as his family! That's pretty impressive. If I ever come back as a hamster I hope I end up in a QT family!

whether it be a hamster, cat, dog, horse or a bird or any of our other fur/feathered friends, it is wonderful to hear/see that others are applying QT to these friends also! Keep up the good work and I agree with Creativejani--if ever I come back as an animal, I want a QT family!!!

quick update - one week later, Smokey-Jo has all his fur back and is going hell for leather around his wheel!
He seems to have shed a year as well!

Great, nice to know, and the shedding a year bit sounds very promising! In hamster years that's huge..! Would your QT family/friends care to send to me for a couple of hours before my 50th birthday this Friday?? LOL.
