Well, I have to be honest, it is the belief thing for me. I have so far gotten much farther with this work by having a good attitude and believing that it happens just as it appears, and just as they say.

That being said, it is highly variable which techniques I use to best advantage. Every session is different. I have only done an interactive video workshop (like you) so the number of tools in my box right now are pretty limited. But what tools! I use vortexing a lot, I occasionally do toning (beause I like singing), sometimes I try to send colors from the chakras, sometimes I use a tractor beam. Someone mentioned that one in the chatroom one day, and being the Star Wars fan I am (as though you couldn't tell that one) I was able to start using that right away, without description. I just got it, you know?

And that leads me into the best technique I have ever used: visualization. My imagination. I just make things up as I go. When I get into the zone, I see myself being there. With the person, inside the person. Seeing things in my mind's eye and just "pretending" to be moving things around or changing things. Sometimes it might be called the Amplified Resonance technique (as mentined in the book). Either way, intention and thought make thigns happen, and according to the people I do this with, they say something happens. So who am I to tell them (and myself) it does not work?

I want to learn as many possible techniques as I can with this work. But everytime I learn something, I find that I really just hit the "flush" button shortly thereafter. If I keep that stuff in the front of my mind, it gets in the way. Once I incorporate the technique, I just let things go. Let things fly. See what happens, go with what feel right. When I let go, that is when I get the best results with my clients. That is certainly true with massage therapy, which is what I have done for years. When I get in the zone I may not know what I am going to do from moment to moment, but the client always seems to come back with some great results. As Rockapella once sang: "You ain't making music when you know what note is next. Have some faith!"

So I don't know if that answers your question or if I was sharing too much again! But I hope it helps either way.

That's interesting, that keeping your expectations and plan open works best. I'm a musician - 20 years of classical piano - so the music reference really hits home with me.

I've spent the better part of those 20 years needing to play exactly what was on the page. Although I learned to pour my heart and emotions into my playing the notes always "had" to be correct. Just recently I've suddenly been able to improvise and make up stuff on the fly. I can't tell you how freeing that is! Maybe I'll try to harness that "free improvisation" during my next session and see what happens?

I honestly don't think there is a capper on how much is sharing too much in a forum such as this. I think we all benefit from receiving insight from each other. That's a great post John, thanks!

To get credit for an interactive video workshop you need at least two other people besides yourself. I just checked the section on Hosting a Workshop on the front page. It explains what you have to do and how many you need, etc.

Um, I had a rather...interesting session tonight and I'd like to know if this sort of thing happens to others or am I just... ???ok...I'll just post it and see what you have to say. I'll preface this by saying that I go through phases where I'm sure I see spirits. I prefer not to so I usually just phase them out.

25 min Yoshiko Dec 14, 06 Distance healing

Yoshiko is a friend of my step sister, 38 years old, 2 small children and has been suffering from some kind of virus in her spine. She’s had it for several years now and feels pain in her chest and armpit area. I’ve never met her before.

Let me begin saying that this was a very strange session. Right from the beginning I got the clear feeling that someone or something was trying to interfere. I had 4 big interruptions with in the first 10 minutes. I began again and I asked for help from her spirit protectors. Instantly I felt intense buzzing in my hands and as I began to focus on her chest – sandwiching to begin – I felt another pair of hands on mine (doing the sandwich technique). I just knew it was her father, her mother and shortly after a brother or an uncle. Everyone was singing loudly and I had such a powerful feeling of love…I just started crying. Then I felt her grandfathers’ presence. Everyone just loves her so much! My hands, in particular my ring and pinky fingers were buzzing like crazy. My knees were going as well. I noticed that my right thumb kept pulling into my palm, in a bit of a spasm…weird.

I could feel intense heat in her right breast so I stayed there for awhile. I didn’t feel the need to do fire breaths at all (these seem to be really effective for me), there was so much energy coursing through, all I could do was concentrate and keep up with my breathing! I did cover all the chakras and joined in with the toning and focused my consciousness into her breast.

I worked down her back and right near the base of her sacrum I could see a couple of puncture marks on either side of her spine, like she’d been bitten my a big snake or something. We (her family and I) sung louder and louder and it felt like we were harnessing volcanic energy. I wanted to start scraping some black stuff off her back but didn’t want to let go of the energy focus. Then all of a sudden a huge red dragon appeared and it was clawing and eating it off her body. It was breathing fire on it and then eating it!

So I go back up to her shoulders and the top of her shoulders feel like rock, they’re so stiff. I focused the energy down them for what felt like a good long time. As I finished up, my hands were vibrating so much that I had no problem feeling and adjusting her hips (that felt like they were several inches out of whack) and her occipital bones.

I after relaying my experience to my dad and stepsister, she then called her friend to see how she was. She experienced no change in the pain or anything, but she did say that there is a lump in her right breast and that her hips are really out. I told them to get someone to measure her hips! So I await the update in the next few days.

I'm a little wierded out to be honest.

It might be typical for you, Sonja. I think you're a star! My experiences aren't so noteworthy. They're nice, healing, comfy, effective and all that stuff but this is spectacular. Keep it up!
PS: The energy continues to work for 2 - 5 days so it's not done just because the session is ended.

Yes, right, I need to be patient about the healing. I've been checking back with her in my minds eye and wouldn't you know I could see more dragons?! I did another session on my Great Aunt tonight and on my way back home I checked in with Yoshiko again and felt that she was all inflamed and swollen. I ran energy to her again and then shortly thereafter it all calmed down and she seemed to be all free of this black stuff and her body all relaxed. I visualized a full cleansing and a healthy body.

This certainly is an interesting trip.
