Hi everyone,
I started healing sessions with my brother with a foot massage (his feet were propped up in a recliner, so it was the easiest part to get to!). This gave me a chance to see where he was sensitive/in pain on his feet, check a reflexology chart, place a hand on that part of his body while contacting the reflex point with a finger (this is a Polarity Therapy technique), then run the energy. This was a great way to work quickly!

But before I started, I would always first contact just inside and below the ball of the foot with my middle fingers and run energy for a couple of minutes. This meridian point, called the "Kidney 1" or "bubbling spring", is a major meridian for replenishing the body's energy stores. I could literally see my brother's skintone become healthier and his eyes become clearer and shinier within moments of running energy into these points!

Good ones to remember if you are short of time and the person is very ill.

Here is a story of SEP 23. Kidney point.
Chi-shoh (Honourable Master) Jiro Murai (1886 born in Japan) was the founder of this healing method and the thing I want to tell is that when Mary Burmeister (she brought it to the western world) was asked if she ever were stranded on an island and if she was only allowed to have the use of one SEP (Safety Energy Point) wich one of the 26 SEP she would use? Funny realy for we carry them on/in us our whole life but it is only to tell how important SEP 23 is.
Her answer was "SEP 23" that's the kidney point. It's called Destiny or Circulation (Spring Cleaning).

Thanks Alfred and others for reminding me of this important point. I have often used K1 under the foot to end off sessions and people always remark how good it feels. It might be a good idea for me to try STARTING a session with this point. If there is a significant difference I shall report back.

I went to a talk yesterday on the Metamorphic technique, and they work on the foot but don't do any healing - just 'experience' or witness whatever they find there. I didn't stay for the rest of the talk (working on the hands and head.)

Has anyone ever just done QT on someone's foot? Seems if there's no one obvious point to start on it would make sense to start there and then see where the body responds! I think I'll try that on my mother next time I work on her.
