Two women were complaining of low back/hip pain at a craft group I attend. One woman, an active 80+ year old was in a fair amount of distress. I ran energy on her low back as she sat in her chair, for just a few minutes. The next time she stood up she said she wasn't grabbed by pain like she had been.
The second woman, in her early 60's, had been to the doctor. An MRI showed bulging discs and restriction of the spinal canal. She was scheduled for an epidural, and considered a candidate for back surgery. I ran energy for a couple of minutes, and she felt a little better. She made an appointment to see me at my office. (I'm an acupuncturist.) The next day when she came I first checked her hips, which were level, and her occiput, which wasn't. I ran energy there, and then worked my way down her spine as she stood. I spent a little more time between her shoulder blades because my fingers started to tingle there. As I sent energy there, we suddenly heard a couple of crackling noises as her spine rearranged itself. I then put her on my table and did some acupuncture, and ran more energy while the needles were in. I saw her again the next day at my weavers' guild meeting. She was ecstatic, saying the pain was hugely reduced. She'll be in for a follow-up appointment next week, and we'll do it again. (She had also called the other woman I worked on who also reported feeling better.) ![]() |

Yes I also find running energy in the piriformis muscle which is a deep hip rotator muscle helps alot with clients who are suffering from what is called "False Sciatica" The Sciatic nerve runs under the piriformis. The Piriformis muscle is located underneath the Gluteus "bum" muscle. The Origin of the muscle is the anterior sacrum. "tailbone" and the insertion is the Superior aspect of the Greater Trochanter "top of your femur"
