In the late fall of 2006 a lady in my Sunday School class told us that her daughter needed a liver transplant(confirmed by biopsy) but that the doctors would not do it until she quit smoking (something she couldn't do). She was coming back home to Virginia to die...doctors told her she would be dead in 2 years if she did not have a transplant. I told her mother that I would do energy healing on her weekly for free if she was willing, so I went to their home the day after she arrived in Virginia.

I did regular Quantum Touch on her for the first 45 minutes. Then, since I had just finished watching my new Core DVD, I told her I wanted to try something new. I wombed her liver, dissolved it in my mind, and then let a new one form. When I did the last step, a clear picture of a perfect liver popped into my mind. It was so clear that I was surprised. When I finshed she said "THAT felt weird!"

"What did you feel?", I asked.

"It felt like that area of my abdomen was expanding...sort of pressure. Then when you stopped, it felt like everything collapsed back in place".

I felt sure that something BIG had just happened, but I had no proof. She cancelled the next appointment, and each appointment thereafter...one excuse after another. Her mom told me that the daughter had asked her "Mom, do you believe all that stuff Laura was saying and doing?"

Now this girl really needed some help. In addition to the bad liver, she had celiac disease, real bad osteoporosis, a history of blood clots, and was on a LOT of medications...She was only in her late 40's. She looked like a concentration camp survivor or anorexic....so skinny, that she could no longer wear her dentures!

Anyway, this morning I got a call from her mom that she was rushed to the hospital during the night. So I stopped by to see if I could help her. I found her writhing and moaning in her hospital bed...her mom said that the morphine they were giving her no longer took the pain away.

I began running QT on her, but she was in so much distress that I thought to switch to EFT to calm her down. While I was surrogately tapping on myself for her and affirming calmness quietly in my mind, I could actually see her calming down. Then I started tapping on "I am getting sleepy" in my mind, and we heard her say out loud "I am getting sleepy". I then went back to QT and was doing it when the doctor came in. I continued sending energy to her while they talked (and even explained to the doctor what I was doing). When he asked her about past operations, I heard her say that she had 2 biopsies. After the doctor left, I asked her mother if she had a biopsy HERE in Virginia...Her mom said "yes" and told me that it turned out fine. "Her liver is OK now".

YES, YES, YES....QT to the rescue

She was really appreciative and hugging me when it was time for me to leave. She said that she felt sooo much better after I started working on her. I hope she's convinced enough to let me continue to help her.

UPDATE:

I went to the hospital to see this daughter last Monday again. At that time the mother said the doctors were going to look at her liver and kidneys again, as they could not find any reason for all her pain and abdominal swelling. Cancer and bowel obstruction had been ruled out.

Today I got a call from her mother who reported that the doctors have concluded that the daughter's pain is coming from her deteriorating lower spine and that her abdominal swelling is coming from a distended bladder that had dropped and was not emptying.

I told the mom that I had not stopped in since Monday because I did not want to be a pest.

"Oh, no! Edna said that she always feels better after you leave"

"She's glad to see me leave?...."

"NO...she tells me after you have left that she always feels better after you have been here!!!"

So I promised to stop by tomorrow after my swim (the YMCA is near the hospital) and thanked her for the information...now I know where to concentrate my healing intentions.

A favor please: We would appreciate any help anyone here feels led to provide. This woman is too young to be in such bad shape. Her name is Edna Taylor and is in Maryview Hospital in Portsmouth, VA.

When I stopped by to see Edna today, she told me that a doctor had just talked with her, telling her that she is depressed and that they need to change her meds (more drugs ) and that her problems are all in her head (at least that is how she interpreted the talk). She is livid. They are releasing her today...with a catheter still in...and she says that I am the only one that has made her feel even remotely better. (At least I know now that her liver is still OK )

I get so disgusted when I hear what doctors are doing today for many patients. For example, she is being given an acid blocker for reflux...yet she has celiac disease. So why do they stop the stomach acid needed for digestion when she is skin and bones because her intestines are inflamed and not absorbing nutrients???? That allows incompletely digested food to go into the intestines and further irritate them!!! Why not just give her a tablespoon of raw honey before she lays down to sleep (soothes the esophagus and gives needed nutrients as a bonus). The medical establishment needs to heed the wisdom of alternative practitioners!!

OH THE SOAPBOX I COULD GET ON NOW!!!

I'll bet a lot of her problems are caused by all the medicines they are prescribing!!!

Edna's mother reported on her this morning in Sunday School and said that they have taken her off the pain meds (although she still is in a lot of pain). Now she can walk better and use her hands to write again (I just KNEW her meds were causing a lot of her problems).

The catheter keeps falling out now that she is home, and now her stomach is bloated because she cannot void her urine. She is lined up to see another specialist (her mother could not remember if it is a gastroenterologist or urologist.)

Mari - you mentioned three angels around her...could they be her brother and sister and dad who died in previous years?

Edna's mom told our class that "with all of the doctors she has seen, Laura is the only one that has helped her" Good ole QT!!!

UPDATE: PRAISE Edna had her doctor's checkup today and it turned out good!!! The catheter is OUT and she can urinate without it. She is feeling better and her appetite has returned. She is also walking better and getting stronger.... However, please continue to send for these improvements to hold. She still has a lot of healing to do.

She appreciates all the energy and prayers coming her way and knows that is why she is improving now.
