My daughter, Jessi, was trying to nap with her 4 month old, Aiden. They were both really tired but Aiden was unable to settle down and his fussiness turned into screaming. Jessi got up to fix him a bottle and asked me to hold him while she fixed it. No formula in the kitchen. No formula in the diaper bag that was outside in the car. Jessi had to make a trip to the store. "Please hurry," I didn't need to remind her over the screaming baby. I started to sing softly into his ear and run Q-T into his little body for calming and for tummy satisfaction. He calmed down and went to sleep. Jessi got home, made a bottle, and took him. Everything was fine. I went to bed. The next day, Jessi said, "I don't know what you did to Aiden but I fed him [a lot] and he slept all night -- until 6 AM." I knew that she knew what I did but I grinned and told her anyway, "You know it was Q-T."

This made me smile! Go Grandma!

Thank you, and what a wonderful job you did for your grandbaby. what a loving and caring grandma you are.

I have 2 grandbabies due here any day now, my daughter is due august 1st, and my daughter inlaw is due august 30.

I will be seeing them both again tomorrow for another baby shower. and I think I am going to try to get a head start on them by working on them ahead of time.

Oh yeah! Q-T is the best Grandma Trick. Also good for delivery and recovery.
