I recently had a patient with a blood disorder causing accelerated clotting. The treatment is anticoagulants (blood thinners). Unfortunate for her, she did not completely expel her placenta after delivery of her baby, and started bleeding profusely. After losing 3 units of blood upon arrival in the OR, the uterus would not contract and stop bleeding...until I shifted into voodoo mode. Who can explain the mysteries of Quantum-Touch? I am so grateful for the gift of this modality, and what it means to my patients.

"Voodoo mode" is a humorous term that Joanne has used for times she runs energy with Quantum-Touch in the OR. QT may seem to be so far outside the box of conventional medicine it could be seen as voodoo.
