Hello all-this is my first post here though I have been lurking around the site for about three weeks. I purchased the book, read it in two days, and have been using QT daily, particularly on horses. I want to share a healing story about Zeus. Zeus is a wonderful percheron cross therapeutic riding horse who has a "stifle" problem. (horse stifle=humanknee). I currently work at the riding center as volunteer coordinator, Riding Instructor but closest to my heart-bodywork specialist for our 12 equine staff. I have been working with Zeus along with our vet for 3 years. Last week I used quantum-touch on his hips annd stifle and had amazing results. While his stifle was still noticably stiff, he was not stiffly jerking his hind leg forward at the trot and his whole body was gently moving flexing floating in a way that myself or my barn manager had ever seen!!! He was a completely different mover. I am very excited about attending a workshop I found in NJ next month, (I live in PA). I have worked on horses for 13 years now, and QT seems to be a modality that they respond very well to. Thanks for making the info so easily accessible. I've found working on animals in general to be quite rewarding. As a former horse shower/trainer/farrier (not in that order) I always have a soft spot for horses. Thanks for spreading the word.

I to have horses, 30 to be exact, and my 10 yr old daughter was training on her 3 year old (Named Rain after the buckskin paint mare in the Movie Spirit) this summer. and the filly came up lame. (this was right after I read The power to heal, for the first time) and she came running in to the house wanting me to fix her filly cause she couldnt walk. the Hock was popping when she brought it forward and she would not put any pressure on it at all.

I said I don't know, I can try. so I went out and there was so much heat and swelling already. when I did the body sweep and started to run the energy she would pull away. so I would pick my self up off of the ground and put my hands on her again. My hands would just go dead on the hock. if I went above it, it would run, and below so I put one hand above it and one below it and worked on her for about 10-15 min than I worked on her legs and worked my hands over her body. When I got to her withers My hands began to really throb, so I stayed there till the throbing went away about 20 min.. when I was done she walked back to her pen with barrly a limp. the heat had subsided and the swelling had gone down about 50%. the next day I worked on her again. this time the Energy flowed more freely but it was still a little blocked in the hock area.

We let her sit for a few days and by the end of the week she had healed to where my daughter started to do some slow training on her again.

and the problem never came back.

Keep up the good work with the horses they love QT. When I go out side they all come up to the fence just to have me pet them while running the energy. Some want it so much that they fight to see who can get the most. They are so much like the little kids.
