Hi, I'm looking after two very small chihuahuas for a week, and they're lovely! They're usually very lively and agile first thing in the morning, jumping down off the bed (which is pretty high for them!) and running around. Yesterday I noticed the little boy, Ralph, was sitting completely still and not joining in with his sister playing on the floor - unheard of! When I next looked round he'd jumped down but seemed to be in some pain, hunched over and not moving again. I immediately got down to QT his hips, which seemed to be the problem area. (I can vaguely recall the way I'd have really panicked a few years ago!) I did a few sweeping and breathings, not in a very comfortable position myself and still half asleep; I could feel him taking it in, though, and relaxing. When I took my hands away, he got up and rushed off as if nothing had happened! Well, nothing much did, I suppose, just another healing, no fuss, no big deal. It's great to be able to do something so instantly for these gorgeous little things - they just want to sit on my lap and be loved all day! Fine by me...
