Dear QT Friends,

I have not actively participated in this forum for a while, however I have read the posts regularly, and frequently I practice QT.

I have started about five weeks ago in having QT sessions with a seven year old boy suffering from severe scoliosis. The Dr. has considered to have a surgery operation on his spine, however the parents prefer to try other alternative healing methods.

Attached I have pictures showing the difference in the shape of the body of the boy after having four sessions in five weeks.

In the beginning I was a little impatient since I did not notice any (spectacular) change.
After comparing the pictures taken within these five weeks I am now convinced, and also the parents of the boy, that QT is effective in the treatment of the scoliosis of the boy.

Great work Armand.

To me the main thing that strikes me is the correction that is happening to the right shoulder blade, moving downwards so to speak. I know from experience how difficult it is to quantify the correctionthat is happening and it is vital to have these photos. I too took photos and it looked like things were happening. I had some fellow Qt'ers study them and they concluded that there was indeed some straightening of the spine taking place, however as you know my client decided to opt for the op so we never completed the sessions which was a great pity.

Keep up the fantastic work and carry on showing us the pictures you are taking. Lovely to hear from you.

The pictures are very helpful. You really do need to study them closely to see the significant difference. Keep up the good work. It's always so inspiring and encouraging to see great results.

And when you said "severe scoliosis", you really meant SEVERE.
Is the boy experiencing anything else besides the obvious? I mean like more fluidity, range of movement, decrease in pain or discomfort?

Wow, Armand, you and this boy are doing some serious healing! The rotation of the upper right ribs was so pronounced in May, and so much improved by just a month! The QT must be affecting the rotation of those upper vertebrae. This is allowing his right shoulder blade to slip back down where it wants to be. Wow! Have you worked on his low back/pelvis area? When we did scoliosis posture training in physical therapy, the position of the pelvis made all the difference in how the rest of the spine was supported.

Thank you for your response, interest, encouraging words and advice.
The parents of the boy noticed the scoliosis about two years ago, when it was already severe. He is treated by physiotherapist already for the last one and a half year up to now, once every two weeks (stretching exercises) and he swims twice a week.

Apart from the abovementioned ones there are no other treatments involved and I conclude that the change in the posture is mainly due to QT. My sessions are weekly for the time being.

Compared with one month ago, according to the family of the boy he is now feeling better, is much more lively, breathing is easier, having much more apatite with a slightly increase in weight. The boy himself answers that he feels good if I ask him how he feels.

Attached I have added a picture I have taken today of the boy. Perhaps the time period is to short to compare, however I think there are some little changes compared with last week. The body looks much more naturally and some small changes in right shoulder blade.

I am seeing the back as much flatter, where before you began the upper and lower back were counter-rotated with respect to each other. Also, I think the last 2 photos are taken in front of the same green fence? Notice the extra clearance between the left armpit and the upper green bar. And notice the narrower gap between his right elbow and waist. He looks taller, elongated. Also, in the first 3 photos there's a bulge of muscle (rhomboids maybe) above the top of the inner edge of the shoulder blade; in the last photo I can just see the line of the neck meeting the shoulder (upper trapezius muscle) showing above the bulge. Wow again.

After reading your comments I have also noticed the details. The pictures were taken in front of the same green fence. So the top of the fence is a good reference.

Generally I have only noticed that the posture of the child has become more naturally, and thought it was just my imagination.
Now You emphasize/confirm the details. Thank You….....

The parents of the boy mentioned that they themselves have noticed the changes in the posture. Now they trust the QT healing completely and do not consider any surgery operation any more.

Coming Friday I will have the next session and expect there will be some possitive progress in the correction of the posture.

Hi Armand,
The changes in the boy's spine are quite impressive. I always wonder how a young child could develop such a curvature. Barring any injuries at an early age, I wonder if the origin of his spinal curvature came from birth, and cranial and cervical imbalances which occurred while passing through the birth canal. If you have not already, would you consider running energy into the child's skull and note the response? If you have also been working with the skull, I'm wondering if you felt any shifting there?
