Hi all..

I'm a little ashamed that i didn't post this earlier... but anyway,,, better late than never.

I was taking my wife to a hands on healer.. my eyes were a little sore so he spent 5 minutes on them see what could be done. The next day my eyes went crazy... red.. sore... worst I had ever experienced with them.. so much for the healer i thought.

2 days later I suffered shingles, the exact spot on my body he thought had a problem on my lower left rib.

I put up with my eyes about 3 weeks but the area around my corneal graft was very red. (had the graft about 3 years ago)
So I booked in to see my specialist..
He was very concerned... he had never had a rejection with the type of graft I had.....
The next day I had a steriod injection into my eyeball... didn't hurt much... except 10 seconds later... ouch..

This saved my cornea.. as well as taking drops every single hour of the day for a week.. ever tried to wake up every hour on the hour?

Anyway... on a check up 1 month later he noted my eyesight was better than before the graft... he was amazed.

two months later.. two lines better on the chart.
He couldn't believe it..

Three months... another line better..

He was so amazed he wanted the phone number of the healer..
He even sent me a taxi one night to pick me up for specialist "show and tell"
There was a questionaire that other specialists has to fill out when looking at my eye. The last question was "how did this happen?"
After about 30 specialist had seen me.. he came in ... and i asked him... "what's your answer for that last question?" He said.. "i think you know the answer" and smiled

The stigmatism has gone from 6 diopters to 2
With 6 he was planning more surgery so I could be able to wear hard contact lenses... Now he said I don't need it.. might even get away with soft lenses..

I believe with Gods grace that i wont need correction at all in that eye someday soon.... please send e more..!!

What I have learnt.. bad things can happen just to make things good.. The rejection game me much beter vision.... i can now read the alarm clock next to my bed.. I can read a book with the strength of my grafted eye alone..
