Several years ago my family and I were on an excursion in our car when a butterfly smashed into the windsield and landed on my daughter's lap broken nearly in two. The children were all distraught, especially my daughter. She tried to hand it up front to me to heal and I told her to do it herself. She was 13 and the perfect age to start doing healings on her own. (While I'm not a certified QT practitioner I have done these healings all my life - running energy - with amazing results. You guys call it QT and have added different forms of breathing while I do just focused breathing with lots of running energy. We do the same thing, I have just never found others like me until now - mine was a gift I was born with while QT appears to be taught)
After much encouragement, she cupped the butterfly in her hands and began to focus on it. Coaching her every step of the way she devotedly tried her hardest. After 20 minutes she looked into her hands and the butterfly was still. She began to cry that it was going to die and the butterfly trembled in her hands a bit. I told her she needed to focus harder because the butterfly needed her. The sight of its torn body was making her believe she could not save it.
We had another hour before we got home. She kept her eyes closed and focused as hard as she could the entire way. I held onto her foot for encouragement as that was all I could reach of her (I was driving). I could feel the heat from my hand and she said she felt it moving up her leg, into her belly and into her arms then her hands.
When we got home she opened her hands and looked inside. The butterfly was no longer in pieces - it was fully back together! She gingerly held it in her hands and got out of the van. Then she went running through the field - we lived on a farm at that time - with her hand open encouraging the butterfly to try to fly away. In 3 minutes it began to flutter its wings then slowly it lifted from her hand and flew away. She ran with it until she got tired and came back home happy and crying.
While she never tried it again, she never forgot her miracle, either.
