Sarah and i were watering our garden when Aisha (10)yrs old came out of the house holding her wrist saying " I cut my wrist really bad."
It took amoment to registed what she was saying. I looked up and then down noticing her holding her wrist and Sarah said Alisha cut her wrist really bad. I jumped up to take a look at it. As she lifted the clinching hand away it started gushing. We ran into the house. Sarah ran to get a towel she knew the drill. We wrapped a towel around it and Alisha applied pressure to it again while we drove to the emergency room. at the hospital and after the paperwork the nurse came out to take look, and said "is she always that pale?" I said "no" she was placed in a wheel chair and ushered off to a room. While the nurse put a pressure bandage on it Alisha said " I watch the show whatdoyado, so I knew that when I cut myself I needed to put pressure on it to stop the bleeding. Plus when Sarah cut the vein on the top of her foot from some broken glass and blood was spaying all over the floor my mom put pressure on it to stop the bleeding". The nurse just looked at her and went uhhuh Alisha started to complain about the pain, the nurse coudn't do anything for it. So I started to run QT into her arm and she drifted off to sleep. The nurse came back in and looked at me with concerne I said "it was really hurting so I am running energy into it. The nurse chuckles and said "if you heal it the cost is the same whether the DR sees her or not". I had to leave the hospital for a bit to take sarah out to the barn she had an appointment with a cusomer bringing in a horse for her to train. when I returned alisha was still waiting. everyone was eating lunch. When the dr came in he looked at her arm and the bleeding had stopped and the wound looked even smaller and less raw, the edges were starting to fuse together. the dr got it to bleeding a bit when he numbed it with the needle. Later Alisha told me that when I started to run Qt on her arm it tingled and then the pain went away and then she got tired and fell asleep. the pain never did come back. Wow. Great story. I just wanted to add something that will save a trip to the hospital. Severe bleeding can be stopped in a few seconds by pouring cayenne pepper powder (just the regular stuff from the spice rack) directly into the wound, the bleeding will stop VERY quickly, then bandage it (it will form a very nice scab) and no further treatment is necessary. This method heals in record time and even prevents infection. There will usually be minimal or no scarring. (At hospitals they cause so much trauma to the wound while cleaning it that it usually results in massive scarring.) I've treated a lot of wounds this way and have taught several classes for medical professionals and laymen showing them how to do this technique and have gotten some awesome stories back. Black pepper can be used instead if you don't have any cayenne available, but you'll need to use more as it isn't as strong as the cayenne. And no, it doesn't hurt when used on large wounds, but it will make you hollar a bit if used on a small paper cut ;-) A tablespoon of the powder in a glass of water taken orally can also be used to stop even the most severe internal bleeding from any part of the body.
Keep up the good work. "There are no incurable diseases, only some incurable people." -- Dr. John R. Christopher |

What happens if the wound is in an artery? does it still stop the bleeding? Because of the spot it was in and the depth of the wound I was afraid of a sliced artery and or tendons because the blood was shooting out with quite a bit of pressure. years ago I had bought this horse and on her hind leg (shin area) was an old wound that had a flap sticking up. A neighbor decided he was going to help me out and pulled his pocket knife out and sliced the flap off. and blood started gushing out quite forceful you could see the vein that was pumping the blood out of then.. and he ran to the house and grabed a hand full of flour and did the same thing, it stopped the blood flow and gave it time to clot. Homeopathic Phosphorus stops bleeding also. Oddly enough, no matter where the bleeding is, you put a tablet under the tongue. imo it's a critical first aid item I keep on hand all the time, hoping never to need it!
