Hi,
I took my first QT workshop last weekend. I met with a neighbor-friend of mine yesterday who had a compresive fracture of C5-C6 33 years ago, resulting in fusion of those lower cervical vertebrae, and a marked loss of grip strength in both hands. In the left hand there is a contracture in the third finger. I am a former chiropractor, and had a device that measures the range of motion (R.O.M.) in the cervical spine. I do not have the before and after measurements with me presently, but will include them in a future post. What I thought I would share with you all is that after this first QT treament(20 minutes). He gained 20 degrees of rotation on each side and 5-8 degrees of motion(each side) for lateral flexion(side bending of the neck). There was very little, if any, gained in flexion and extention of the neck. We are planning to meet again, possibly mid-week to do another session. I am very excited about this beautiful technique, and am considering becoming an instructor at some point. I knew Richard back in Capitola, California when I was a waitress in a local coffeehouse on the beach (~1983-84). He introduced me to becoming aware of energy back then, which was an inspiration to me. It is awesome to see how this has blossomed into something that can help people everywhere, in all walks in life. I am grateful to be a part of this. Thanks, Brinn Bentley |
