Jeremy confided to my husband that he was contemplating suicide. After enduring 9 months of agonizing pain, for which the doctors, xrays and tests found no cause, he didn't want to continue living like he was.

He hurt almost all over. His hands and feet were weak and painful to touch, he had pain and stiffness in his shoulders, forearms and joints, and lack of mobility was causing circulation problems. But most excrutiating was the pain in his feet and knees.

The physical agony was compounded by the humiliation of no longer being able to support his wife and teenage children. Rather than feel useful, he only felt like a burden to his wife, now the sole provider.

Since Jeremy was bed and couch-ridden, Rick agreed to a house call. As Rick ran energy, layer after layer of emotional garbage was peeled away. Physically, that first session produced little more than some movement in Jeremy's upper back. But emotionally, talk about a major attitude adjusment. It was the difference between night and day. Instead of the emotional wreck that had greeted Rick, he was leaving a man who was now optimistic of his possible recuperation. He had hope.

That night as Rick told me of Jeremy's condition, a picture formed in my mind of a feeble old man, unable to get around on his own, and I felt sorry for him.

During the second session, the following day, they literally heard and felt 7 bones in the right foot move back into place and 3 in the left. Jeremy's hips levelled out.

When they finished, Jeremy sat up on the couch and gingerly placed one foot and then the other on the floor. He slowly increased the weight he put on them and finally stood up. That he couldn't believe there was no pain, was obvious by the look on his face. He then moved his weight from one foot to the other, back and forth. After bending his knees several times and satisfying himself that everything was working and he was truly pain-free all over, he bolted from the room. He returned in a few minutes and sheepishly explained, "You have NO idea how good it feels to be able to run to the bathroom when you need to."! For so long, he was denied that simple pleasure, having instead to crawl slowly, painfully, to get about.

After that second session, Rick didn't see Jeremy.

Exactly one year later we were preparing to move from Colorado to Oregon and held an indoor/outdoor yard sale to lighten our load. We were standing in the living room when a gorgeous, thirty-somethingish man appeared in the front doorway. I stood transfixed to the spot and watched with curiosity and wonder, as this Yanni look-alike and my husband smiled at each other and strode across the room into each others embrace.

Oh yea, Jeremy was doing just fine.

Love, Light and Hugs to all,
Christina

Wow, another fantastic account! Was the cause trigger of these symptoms ever determined? It sounds like it hit him quickly and unexpectedly. I'm curious if there was some event that triggered it.

Actually, the symptoms developed over a unknown lenght of time and probably were the result of a TV set falling on Jeremy's feet. He went to doctors, had xrays taken which didn't reveal anything. The doctors said they were probably "bruised". In time they kept getting worse until he could't walk. How that resulted in the end spectrum of ailments is anybody's guess. Except when you look at the body holistically(whole-istically). Most organs and parts of the body have nerve endings in the feet. Maybe it was a domino effect.
As an aside, Jeremy's sister suffered from fibro myalgia. He shared his Quantum-Touch experience with her and suggested she try it. For whatever reason she declined. Hard for me to believe after she had the experince of seeing his benefit first hand.

That is kind of silly. Why wouldn't you at least try QT if you have fibromyalgia? I'd try anything that might make me feel better!

I thought I was getting fibromyalgia--or something worse--once, and I was prepared to do whatever it took to get over it. It turned out that I just had some weird virus and it took a few weeks for my body to get rid of it.

Dunno. I'm with you. If I'm in pain, I just want it gone.
I contacted our local fibro myalgia support group to arrange a demonstration. The lady in charge was very suspicious at first, thinking we were trying to sell some gaget or something. After I explained, she still didn't seem too interested.
Then there are some people (and they're not aware of it) who are very attached to their pain. Sort of the kind that if they got better and someone asked how they were, they wouldn't know what to talk about.
And others who aren't willing to look into it, thinking it's some sort of voodoo thing or something of the devil. They just don't understand and would rather stay in that place of judgement.
Rick and I know we have a precious gift and just keep offering it. Many do want to get better and give it a go.

Hi Christina,
First of all I love your name--CERTIFIED PUBLIC HUGGER--it makes me think of someone of great courage and love!!!!!! I also want to say thank you for sharing your story--and I agree on both counts--whole-istically are body is connected to our feet, but also it is entirely intertwined with its self. You may sprain your ankle, but if the pain lasts for very long the hip on the opposite side will begin to hurt as we are trying to compensate for that pain.
Also you are right on the money about some people not wanting to relinquish the "disease" or pain--they would not have anything to talk about or to get attention with. Thanks for sharing these and your other accounts with us!! Please keep them coming!
Light, Peace, and LovingHealing Energy,
Cindysue

Just a thought re. the people with fibro myalgia not accepting healing...I've had chronic fatigue for years, and fibro myalgia is a related condition, from what I understand; (muscle pain is one of the symtpoms of chronic fatigue and I've suffered from it myself.)

The syndrome which leads to fibromyalgia/chronic fatigue seems to affect the body's stress mechanisms, particularly the hypothalamus area (deep inside the brain) and it's like the body/mind gets stuck in a constant 'alert' phase with no relief. So it gets drained, and more frantic, trying to deal with a non-existent threat. The mental state that goes along with this is the crucial thing here - it's consistently negative and sees everything as a threat (as in your offer of healing) as well as feeling hopeless, because all the efforts of the body's stress hormones) are having no beneficial effect- just the opposite. So a sufferer's negative attitude should be seen as one of their symptoms! So don't be too hard on people who are suffering this kind of condition, it's not just affecting their bodies! I'd suggest you send some distant healing or EFT with the intention they are able to feel some hope; then they'll be able to accept offers of healing. And focus your efforts on the brain as well as the immune system, since that seems to be the seat of the problem.

Until you've suffered this condition you can't know how frightened and hopeless it can leave you, since every effort to get better actually makes it worse! Hope this helps explain the otherwise rather incomprehensible attitude - it's nothing personal, and if you could offer some help it would be much appreciated, later!

all the best, Jane
