Corky is a Shitzu, rescued from the local animal shelter, an another victim of abuse and neglect. My patients, the McNeills, adopted him, paying a small fortune in vet bills to get him back to health, but still he limped,on the left hind leg. I worked on him for ten minutes and the limp vanished, his tail went up, and his whole demeanor changed. He proudly walked up and down the hall, as if he was leading a parade! I told his owner, that many times, when an animal is rescued, they, in turn, save their owners, and cited several examples from a wonderful book, "The Compassion of Dogs." He said, "Now that you mention it, I'm having trouble with my sciaica." I treated him for 30 minutes, and his pain was gone. He and his wife signed up for my first QT class, to work on each others, since they are retired and living on a fixed income. They brought Corky to class, where he was worked on by the other students, and was the star of the show!Thank you, Corky, for bringing confidence and joy to all!

Being saved by a pet you rescue - I was saved from depression and ovarian cancer by Freddie, a chihuahua I adopted when he was 11, so that's true for me! He also gave me confidence when I first started to try healing, I didn't think I could do it at all but he responded so well it inspired me to carry on. He used to hold his back leg up all the time, (he'd had serious ligament damage years before I had him and his heart was thought too bad to operate then.), I gave him Sekhem healing on it a couple of times. I only noticed a few weeks later that he was no longer holding his leg off the floor!
The cancer thing is harder to explain but I'm convinced that without him I'd not have had it diagnosed as early as I did and maybe wouldn't be here now! Dogs are wonderful loving beings and I love hearing stories about them. I'm looking forward to my first QT experience with a dog, since it seems to be quicker and more powerful than Sekhem from what I've read here. I'm using the book since I'm in the u.k and it's more difficult to get the hang of it but I will, I'm determined to do this and help as many people/animals as I can!
