My co-worker brought her sweet 78 year old mother for a session the day before she was to have surgery (8-10 hours)for early stage pancreatic cancer. I educated them on what QT was and told them that this work would probably give her a boost to help her through her surgery and recovery...that it would be offered for the highest good... and that often we don't know what that indicates.
I then did 60 minutes of QT sandwiched in the area of pacreas/duodenum/bile duct (Doc's description).
She felt no sensations anywhere in her body throughout the session and had a hard time focusing on suggestions to visualize/feel herself in a special healing space/place and with total vitality and wellbeing...or focus on things for which she was grateful (she kept asking, "what is it you want me to think about, again). So I asked her to just rest her body/mind during the session. Following surgery, my co-worker called me and said the surgery had been more complex and took longer than they had expected. But the doctors were "amazed" at how well she did during the surgery and how quickly she recovered following. Her vitals signs were excellent throughout the whole experience and she was asking her daughter to bring her christmas cards to fill out, and focusing on holiday plans....18 hours after surgery!
