I got a phone call today from Ade in NY. He has lost most of his sight due to a damaged optic nerve (past history includes a fall and cataract surgery). He took the basic QT workshop some years back and plans to work on himself, and is interested in hearing what anyone else might have experienced with this kind of condition. As he has trouble reading, I said I would post the request for him, and email any responses back to him. He can then drop it into a Word file and make it big enough to see. I'll also put a post for him on the healing request thread.

I haven't had experience with optic nerve repair/regrowth, but I do know that nerves grow slowly, at a rate similar to the hair on your head. I severed C6 nerve root on the right a number of years ago and had a mostly-numb right hand. It took about a year and a half to get sensation back again fully. I only have one small residual numb spot on my right pointing-finger, so I am happy. So I'm wondering when he had his fall and cataract surgery...was it recent?

In the meantime, I hold open the possibility for total healing, and I will be doing distant sessions for Ade.

Hi Jody,

Yes I do have experience with a client with eye damage. He was one of my clients before I moved from Florida. He had cataract surgery that went haywire and his vision in his right eye was totally blurred. I started doing hands-on for his eye, sending impulses to the back of his eye like a laser points being directed at his retina and optic nerve, then I placed myself in his eye and sent out energy directly from the retina out.
All done with mostly Supercharging techniques. Slowly improvements were made.

Before I moved, he was now able to see light and less blurring. We were making headway. He was a good healer.

Jody, is there a way he can find a hands-on practitioner?

I'm curious how many treatments you did or how many weeks/months you worked with him before you moved?

Hi Holly,

When I saw him, we were on for once a week for 45 minutes. It lasted for almost 6 weeks until I moved. He was/is a dear man. He had other issues going on as well. Hip and joint problems, and a bad heart.

I predominately treated his son who has Muscular Dystrophy 3 times a week. After one of my midweek session with his son, I would drive to the parents house which was close by and do the father.

Blessings

Thanks Mhari - It's a help to have some time frames for healing work that others have experienced. A lot of the success stories here are so instant that I get to feeling inadequate when things take their time! I really think that if we/I could 'hold' the idea of the 'new' or restored body being completed, the healing process would be more often instant. This is that confident, allowing, knowing place in our minds, that slips in and then slips away, lol. I'm thinking this is the place you get to in the wombing work, or matrix energetics. Oh this work is so fantastic. Yet I suppose I'll be able to hold that space better when I view this work as ordinary!

Holly,

I appreciate your honesty. I feel likewise that things have to be instantanious to be viewed as working or healing especially in our day and time.
In truth, lets not forget, we are not the healer, we are the facilitator. I try to gently remind myself, being a pesky perfectionist that I am, its all in God's time.

And your right, holding that idea of a perfect, healed, and totally complete being is the avenue. Funny you should mention that, my mother a healer herself, and I had an indepth conversation about that yesterday. Her point was that it was everything! Having your higher self talking to the other higher self, because of the level of the relationship, there is no level higher than that. Spirit to spirit, soul to soul.

And your right, this work is fantastic! I keep learning day by day. Thanks for sharing, I appreciate it and you!

Many Blessings

How interesting that you and your mom just talked about this. No coincidences, right?! It sounds like she does something like Theta Healing, which also does that connection of higher to higher selves, but I bet your mom just developed it on her own?

I grew up in such a practical, logical, left brain household that all this awareness of the 'rest of the story' has been quite a ride. I'm in awe of people who carried their child awareness of the whole picture through to adulthood, lol.

I figure part of my job here is to introduce people to healing and other seemingly out-there things, who are completely in the dark at the moment about this stuff. I really remember where they are coming from. Smiler
