My wife has had sciatic problems for 12 years. It's been better, but last night it was burning badly- down her legs.
I got home from work and tried running energy into the psoas and glutes. Didn't seem to have an effect.
We agreed that if she did some Pilates, with all the breathing and stretching, it would help get her energy running.
Later that night, after Pilates but still with pain, I started running energy LD method. I focused on her sacrum, coccyx and L2, 3, 4 and 5. In about five minutes she mentioned that the pain was now running front to back along her hip muscles. So I visualized muscles, instead of bones and focused my energy.
After about 10 minutes I heard her whisper, "it's working". Seven minutes later she said "It went from a 10 to a 3. But now it's in my thigh and calf".
I focused on the muscles in the calf and thigh for about another seven or eight minutes.
The sciatic pain went to 0. This morning the pain was still away.
Now the interesting thing-
When I lay down and do LD, I can really get the energy flowing. I start to tingle all over. While I was treating my wife, my left ankle was noticeable full of energy.
After I stopped treating my wife, the sensation continued and grew stronger. Soon I was have stinging and piercing pains all over my ankle.
Two years ago I sprained my ankle badly- on crutches for three months- and it never healed properly.
My ankle continued to twitch and tingle into the night. This morning, there's a little pain, but more mobility.
That's fantastic, congratulations. You clearly demonstrate how the work is healing for the practitioner as well as the person you are working on. Your ability to focus the energy seems to be stronger during distant healing work. With practice you will be as strong with your hands on the person as well.
What does LD mean? Is it long distance. So you were running energy distantly? If you were running energy distantly, do you find running energy easier when you have a better and more comformatable posture such as you mentioned laying down in a bed?

That's what seems to be the case.
Right now I have some things that are pretty wrong with my spine and so my back muscles tighten up easily. That affects both my breathing and concentration.
When I'm lying down, all my muscles are relaxed, and I can concentrate so much better-
I visualize very well- so visualizing the muscles, specific bones, nerves or tendons plays to that strength. So LD (long distance) is what I've had best results with, even if I'm right next to the person I'm treating.
