For Valentine's day, I decided to buy a single flower for each of my friend. I had done it before and thought it was a nice gesture. While going to work, I decided to run energy into the bunch to see if it would have an impact on the duration of the flowers compared to others.

Obviously, many women received large vases of roses from their significant others. About a week went by, and the roses were gone from their ledges. I didn't think much of it and even forgot about it until recently when I visited a friend, and she was all smiles. She said, "I still have your flower here." My jaw dropped when I looked over. There it was, the flower like new on the window sill. 16 days after I bought it, the flower looked like I just gave it to her. She said, "I must have used good water." I said, "Yeah, something like that."

Out of curiosity, I looked up the average life span of a flower in a vase - most flowers have an average of 4-7 days, with some having 7-14 days maximum, and I'm sure by then they start to droop.

I'm still amazed.

This is lovely! You have run energy on flowers but my mind went straight to maths with it! And here is why. I shall talk percentages.
So, if an average life for a cut flower is 7 days and the life of the QT energized flower is going beyond 16 days, that means an 128% increase ....it may mean that if we practice a daily maintenance QT run of energy on ourselves, we may prolong our lives by at least another 100 years. I do not see why not??

Yes, QT works wonders with cut flowers. My personal best has been 17 days with no drooping.
I am kinesthetically impaired, meaning that I am one of the 1-2% who don't feel energy. My sucess with cut flowers gave me the confidence to continue doing QT. I still don't feel energy, but I have no doubts about my abilities.

I lost track of the flower, but I know it went at least 20 days! What a great run.

As for another 100 years, I prefer quality over quantity...if I can work out daily when I'm 80, I'll know I was successful.
