I wanted everyone to read this, so I posted it everywhere.
WOW,WOW,WOW,WOW!
Today is the day after, and I am feeling so much better than I ever dreamed possible! I hurt like crazy last evening, slept very well and woke up not so badly! I was able to fix Cam his protein shake, took some pain meds and went back to sleep. I had 2 teeth pulled on the bottom, but I am amazed that there is NO pain in the craters. The most pain I feel is where the denture is rubbing on the spot between my lip and my gum. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU ALL for your help. I look like Miss Piggy with all the swelling. They did some bone grafting because of cracking in my jaw. I don't remember anything much from taking my prince Valium and getting back into the car to be coming home. Apparently, I would not be a great drug addict, because I went whack-o with the valium. However, the people in the waiting room and my daughter got quite a laugh out of it! I wouldn't get out of the dental chair until they pulled the lower teeth because I didn't want to go through anymore pain. I was assertive even under anesthesia!
Thank you all again. Please keep it up until the swelling goes down. I know pain can happen 2 days after.
