An acupuncture patient of mine came in for a treatment after having some cancerous tumors removed from her breast. She had a lot of fluid retention/swelling in the breast. (The doctor removed several liters!) She also had a couple of lymph nodes removed from her left armpit, and the doctor said she shouldn't have any needles in the arm on that side, for risk of infection. So after we put the acupuncture needles in where we could, I did Quantum Touch, running energy in her left arm. (I mostly did yin breath; it's my favorite modality.) She was already starting to relax from the acupuncture, but said the QT felt totally nourishing and nurturing, especially after the physical trauma of the surgery. Her body felt like it was drinking it in. The swelling went away pretty quickly after that.

Yes, I've seen post-surgical swelling go down quickly numerous times with fabulous pain relief. It seems to be one of the easiest and best applications of the work. Wounds often respond very fast to Quantum-Touch. One woman who worked at a hospital told me she was using QT post-surgically and a doctor told her to stop doing it. He explained that when she did "that stuff" he could "no longer predict how much pain medication to give the patients". Too much!
