I just completed the 4 dvd disc workshop with my mom. I was completely impressed with what I'd learned and already witnessed in our practice sessions that I wanted to try it out right away the next morning on the ferry trip home. I've actually done so much in the past 2 days that I started a log:

Hours of Quantum -Touch

20 min old guy on ferry Dec 10, 06 Distance healing – about 2 metres

I overheard him telling his friends of his bad knee. He’d recently fallen and injured it further. He said that he was on a 9 month waiting list for a knee replacement.

Did silent toning, sweeping breaths, vortexing and then spun all the chakras. I also focused my consciousness into his knee.

About 10 minutes into it, he started rubbing his knee. As I was finishing up, he was happily flexing his foot up and down. His face looked quite a bit more relaxed than before. I tried to follow him afterwards to see how he was walking as he was really complaining about it before the trip. I couldn’t catch any comments or anything, but he was very quickly marching down the hallway with a rather surprised looking wife trying to keep up with him.

25min Uncle Adolf Dec 10, 06 Distance healing – Richmond –
Langley

He’d been quite disoriented and hallucinating for days prior. Had surgery to repair a badly broken hip 5 days before. He was quite weak and dizzy.

Did a lot of toning - had the inkling to do a variety of opera sounds, sweeping breaths, fire breaths, vortexing, spun all the chakras, and put my consciousness into his head as well. I focused on his brain for about 15 minutes and then his hip for about 10mins.

Auntie Gisa was there as the session was occurring. He was quite lucid and present. Had good energy and he was asking normal questions. He was eager to get the rehab going so he could get home and get to work. He asked one odd question, but it was a great improvement over the previous day.

1 hour Auntie Deb Dec 10, 06 Distance healing – Richmond BC –
Calgary AB

She has had Crohns disease for many years. She has no lower intestine – has a bag. She’s been declining for the past 6 years or so, but has been really bad for the past year. Spent seemingly more time in the hospital than at home. This time she’d been in hospital for about a week in intense pain. Doctors suspected a blockage, and her husband was really concerned she wouldn’t make it through this one.

I worked on her intestine very intensely for 20 minutes. I did sweeping breaths, fire breaths, loud toning, spun all the chakras. I felt a big swollen lump in her upper left intestine. I then did a 3 fingered focus. Shortly after, I felt it give way and move along. I visualized and felt a smooth and flowing healthy intestine. Then, I just had so much extra in my hands I gently worked on her hips, skull, all the neck bones, her throat, heart, tail bone and all the lower spines. My hands got really hot at the lower backbone just above her sacrum. I swear I heard it crack into place!

Response from her husband the following evening: Hi Sonja Just to let you know Deb was feeling much better today there was no pain. she was still tired but better than she was on Sunday (yesterday) thanks her tests are tomorrow let you know how they go

25 min Auntie Gisa Dec 11, 06 Hands on

Poor thing has phlebitis in her legs (badly inflamed varicose veins) and she's all hunched over with scoliosis and rheumatoid arthritis. So she agreed to let me do some energy work starting with her leg. About 15 minutes into it I heard a crack in her chest (of all places?) and she suddenly exclaimed that she could take a deep breath. She hasn't been able to breathe deeply for a few years now. She sat straighter and really started breathing. Her cheeks then turned a nice rosy pink! I'd just done a fire breath when this happened. She was so excited that she ran to the front door, swung it open and just breathed!

I admit that I was still a little unsure as to what I'd experienced while taking the course and since the first of what I'd done was distance and couldn't see improvement first hand, I was pretty sceptical as to the effectiveness of my efforts.

But holy cow, after seeing the difference it made in my 81 year old Auntie Gisa and my Auntie Deb, I'm a believer!

Hi Sonja
Welocme, you will get to love this board and we will look forward to your posts after this. It is great when someone is so enthusiastic. Keep logging your stories just so you can look back and veryify to yourself that it did really happen. I have just been tickled pink to discover that after working on a client twice she had NO SIGN of an ovarian cyst that was very much in evidence before the treatments. She was going for a 3rd opinion about whether to have her ovaries removed because of a high risk of cancer in her family but the doctor has agreed to monitor her closely every 4 months instead. While I was working on her she had felt like her ovary was "in meltdown" her words.

Lots of love
Wendyp

Fantastic stories, all! I especially loved hearing the one about the man on the ferry boat. I chuckled out loud.

Congratulations, and enjoy the trip, because it is going to be an interesting one!

Oh, and keep telling us those stories!

Wow! you guys are quick to respond Smiler

Ok, so I updated my profile for you...I'm in Richmond BC, Canada - just south of Vancouver.

I'm absolutely interested in becoming certified, so I guess I'll have to arrange another workshop...unless you could consider my stepfather watching the second disk with us and participating in the practice session as a third.

I also am dying to know the Supercharging techniques so I'll have to order that workshop when the funds come in.

I've been experimenting with my own visualizations. When vortexing I actually see a speeding beam of orange/red light spinning up me and down my arms and hands.

Another is imagining that my forearms are special energy amplifiers (kind of like a piece of equipment used to focus a powerful laser beam ). I find when I do that, I feel a real focused sensation in the palms of my hands. Almost more so than doing the 3 finger focus thing.

I've been reading through all the healing stories with much interest the past couple of nights. I'm really happy to have found you all here. Keep up the good work!! What an inspiration you all are Big Grin

Oh the book...I quickly leafed through it at the end of the workshop since I couldn't take it with me. I don't remember what the details were about becoming certified....3 people, send in some money...anything else? I remember someone mentioning on the forums that you need 60 hours logged or something? edited to say that I found the info back at the main site Razzer

All of that information you are looking for can be found in links that reside on the Quantum Touch Home Page. Look in particular at the Becoming a Practitioner link. Should answer those questions fast.

Yay!

p.s. BTW, your visualizations sound great. Make it up as you go! The single most important thing about doing this work is believing in it and yourself. The rest is as individual as you are... and how fantastic is that?

Hello Sonja:
Awesome post there, Sonja! I admire the way you just got stuck in went for it! So, so many hem, haw, muse, sit on the fence, have an opinion about it and maybe don't even try QT!

This is a testament to the value of Nike's adage "just do it!"

Bless you, and I hope everyone visiting this site reads your post!
Blessings,
Alfred

Thanks Alfred!

Well, I have 2 little kids to chase after so I just go for things when I have the opportunity. Nothing to lose by trying right?

Heh, I keep calling all my relatives and telling them about it. Now my Dad and older brother want to do the workshop! I have another session with my great aunt tomorrow and then a distance session lined up for Friday.

I need to get some funds together pronto so I can get certified...I think I've veered onto a very exciting path here!

Welcome Sonja! I've found that everyone here seems to enjoy sharing. What works best? you ask. I think different things work for different people at different times. I sweep, breath, visualize, allow, and trust my intuition and the process. My visualizations take off in unexpected directions -- I just go with it. The best thing I like about QT is that we have techniques that are guidelines, not rules so if my intuition suggests I do something different, I do it and trust that it's all good -- it is.

Peace on Earth & in your Heart
