This morning as I was getting my horse ready to ride, one of the trainers came up to me. She had fallen off yesterday and had a very stiff neck. She asked if I would "do my thing" for her so she could ride all the horses she was supposed to work today. I checked her occiput which was out, and using the Core Transformation techniques I began to work on it. I had to do some "steam release" on her neck, too.
Meanwhile my horse, Kestrel, was right behind me, using my back to rub the flies off his face. As I continued to work Kestrel implied that I was supposed to be working with him, not someone else! Finally he got his nose right up next to mine and studied what I was doing. After about 3 minutes or so her neck was better, and she looked at Kestrel and said "so that's who was doing the heavy breathing!" (I wasn't, since I was using Core techniques.) She exclaimed that it must have been Kestrel's help that made it work so well. Jody Herriott, Licensed Acupuncturist Ashland, OR Core Transformation instructor |

Isn't it amazing how animals, especially the ones who know us so well, pick up on what's going on? Animals don't lie. They feel or sense the "good stuff" and want to be in it, near it, participate in good feelings. Aint it wunnerful!!
I LOVE stories like this, so thank you, Jody! Ali Practitioner and Instructor http://healinghandsminnesota.com Turn your face to the sun -- The shadows fall behind. |

Oh Jody I love your story.
The heavy breathing part is so funny,I could see it just happening in front of my eyes. Animals are so special. After about 3 minutes or so her neck was better, and she looked at Kestrel and said "so that's who was doing the heavy breathing!" (I wasn't, since I was using Core techniques.) She exclaimed that it must have been Kestrel's help that made it work so well. Thanks for telling Much Love Pinky |
