Hi,



I recently completed the QT Basic Workshop. A friend of mine asked me to send her six year old daughter some healing energy, as her daughter does not sleep at night. She cries and runs around screaming all night long. Hence, the entire family has sleepless nights.



I sent her daughter some QT distant healing energy one night last week. During the session, I sensed her crying and cowering in a corner, just screaming. I talked to her a bit while sending the energy. I told her not to be afraid, her bed was a safe place for her to be and it was a special place just for her. I also explained how important it was, not only for herself, but for her mom and dad to get a good night's sleep etc...



Anyway, the next day her mom came to see me and said that her dauthter did not put up much of a fuss to go to bed and actually climbed into her own bed, herself. She slept the entire night without waking up.



You cannot imaging how stunned I was. I was not expecting anything like this, I was not expecting anything at all. So, I decided to tell her mom that I thought her daughter seemed to be afraid and upset because I sensed her fear and her crying.



That evening, the mom asked her daughter if she was afraid of going to sleep and why....her response was....yes, I am afraid to sleep in my room because he will come and get me.



After a little investigation, her mom found out that the grandparents have been telling her daughter that if she does not finish eating all her dinner then the Boogie Man would come and get her and take her away.



I am just amazed by this whole experience and am glad that I could help in some way. So far, the little girl has gone to bed at night time and slepped the entire night. I sent her some more energy and her essence was very mischievous and playful...quite a contrast to our first meeting.



Just thought I would share this experience with someone.

I have a question about Healing...since I've started with massage and then Reiki and then Healing Touch I keep coming across countless people who are in need of distance healing energies or a family memeber of a friend, a friend of a friend...etc...How do you go about keeping all these folks in mind? Do you have a bowl that you write names down and then send Healing energies to the bowl? Do you send the Healing energy during the day if you happen to think about a certain person? I'm just curious how some of you work it because right about now I have about 8-10 people I can think of that are facing medical/emotional problems where I've promised to send Healing energy to them...

I think everyone has their own method, but with QT it seems as though if you try to do more than one person at a time, it becomes...diluted...In Reiki, we usually just have a box or whatever, put all the names in and do one send. While this is not wrong, I don't find it as effective as a single treatment, but more like saying a prayer for them. I try to remember the people who have asked for help and I find that by the time I get to have enough time to sit, I have forgotten who I was supposed to send to...so I think now I will leave a special pad of paper, just for a healing list, by my computer and as the day or night goes by, I will add to it and then sit down with it during the time that I put aside. NOW, having said that, there are times when I just stop reading and send, but that's not the norm for me. And that's just my 2 cents....

Oh, while I'm thinking of it, I want to share a poem that someone from my Reiki Class passed on to me...it's very lovely...

The way I send distance healing is right when I read the post. Then when I meditate I send to whoever pops into my mind. I find the energy realllllllllly strong while I meditate. Another person and I are trying something, we have become energy buddies. She lets me know where she needs energy and I let her know when I am going to send to her, and vice versus. It is great! So far good things are happening I think!
There are so many people who are requesting that I just do it when I read it, and if I think of them during my day I do it again.

Hi Airmid,
For myself, when sending out love to my friends and family I place all the names in a bowl and send healing energy into the bowl.

However, when someone asks me to specifically send distance healing, I keep a log book. It contains the name, location, illness and a tentative date that I will send the energy. Also I note any comments I might recieve later on in there as well. Instinctively, I feel it is important to keep each healing session separate as to not mix the energies.
