Hi all
I know that Mark L recently posted a note about his success w/using QT for flu and I think I will add my own. Last week, I had oral surgery which went very well, no problems. While I was filling my prescription for an antibiotic (routine) I started to feel quite ill and barely got home. I tried to do some QT but w/a 100.8 fever and terrible aches, its hard! To make a long story short, I had maybe 1 fever episode a day for 4 days, but no real incapacitation like you get w/a full-blown flu. I havent had the flu for YEARS. I managed to get my kids to school, do needed grocery shopping and run errands. Not a terribly miraculous cure but it was quite manageable! Better than being in bed for a week! I hardly ever get sick, so my kids were sorta freaked out. They did their best to help during my chill/fever episodes and I discovered that my 3 yr old dtr is Nurse Ratchet...not yelling at me but ordering her brothers around to get things I needed like she was a Marine ( no offense to any Marines out there, just a comparison) Very sweet but the volume level was painful at times! I am better now and no longer keep Motrin at my bedside although Motrin was my best friend for a while. Martha |

Martha,
I had to laugh picturing your three year old ordering every one around. Sounds like management material to me in the future. Glad you're feeling better. Your right. It's always hard to do QT on yourself let alone when you are sick. So job well done. Many Blessings This message has been edited.
