I've been taking a bit of time to play golf lately and I naturally took my healing sessions to the golf course.
Andy had had a deep pain in his sturnum for many years since a head-collission that nearly took his life. I gave him a 3 minute sessions which helped a great deal, but after another 3 minute session a few weeks later, his pain was fully gone and has not returned.
Frank was complaining while we were waiting on the fifth tee about arthritis pain in his right hand and said that the doctor wanted to give him surgery. Five minutes later he had no pain and his pain has not returned.
Rich, a golf pro was playing with me, and after his round complained that he could not turn his body properly to hit the ball well. After five minutes of QT, he was blown away that he could now make a full turn, see the club at the top of his back swing, etc. He has been telling everyone about the work.
Jennifer and I were taking a tour of a health spa, and noticed that the tour guide was limping. She said that she had been in physical therapy for a long time. Jennifer and I worked on her for a few minutes, and she was amazed that she could now walk up stairs using both legs, rather than limping up with her left leg first on every step.
I find it quite a joy to casually make a big difference in people's lives.
BTW, for those who don't know, I've come to call my spontanious sessions "cafe sessions". I'll do them in cafes, bookstores, parking lots, or where ever I happen to be.

This work is so cool! As we help others, we also help ourselves!
I'm fairly new to QT (have taken a video workshop) and have a question about "cafe sessions". I'm very impressed with the results reported, but would like to know what techniques you focus on during those short periods. I'd especially like to know what you say to the person before you start. Maybe it depends on the part of the world where the cafe is located. I can imagine that the West coast would be more receptive to "stand by while I run some energy" but I live in the bible belt and am wondering how I might suggest it here without having the person think I'm in cahoots with the devil. I guess I also have a fear that nothing will happen. Thanks

Generally, I just tell people that I've been studying a method of using hands-on on healing, and I'd be happy to help if I could. If I were doing sessions in the bible belt, I'd ask people to pray with me while I was doing laying on of hands. If they are still afraid, I'd leave them alone, and try not to let them see my pitchfork. : )
I live in the Bible belt, as well. We have found that approaching people similar to the way Richard suggested works well. Many people know that hands-on healing works, Jesus used it in the Bible, and there are ministers who have the ability to heal as well, so it is not as frightening to them as you may think it would be. We have many born again Christians take the course with us and as long as we allow them to see the uses of Quantum-Touch through their "filters" we have had no problem.
Quantum-Touch has no religious or spiritual affiliation with it, which I think helps it be readily accepted by many cultural and religious backgrounds. Learning a little of the "jargon" of the different cultures or religions in your area helps you to be able to speak in a way that makes what you are doing acceptable to everyone.
Remember that there are always going to be some people that are not interested in what you have to offer. Graciously bow out and look for those eager for what you have to offer, because it is awesome.

Thanks for your response! You are absolutely right and I especially liked your comment about the filters. I do try to match jargon and in counseling have tried to meet clients wherever it is they are coming from. Will try to discover that when offering QT as well. Helen
I want to thank Richard and Jennifer for keeping the website and discussion boards current. I have read the book and have the videos. I work as a nurse and many times the staff and patients that come to the clinic are expecting traditional medical treatments and I tend to forget about the power of QT...I don't use it overtly in the clinic I work...I've had many chances to use it on people and I do use it secretly when giving shots and taking blood pressure when I'm touching the patients anyway. But never loong enough to make a real difference in their symptoms. I have done some QT on my wife and cats with some success but I havn't been as proactive in doing it lately until I came to the website today. All the other peoples experiences inspires me to try harder and use it more. So thank you for that!

Greetings! "Cafe Sessions" are really special! Thanks again for sharing these inspiring experiences with us! Hope we all have a blessed day with Quantum-Touch! Sincerely, Dr. John Garrett & Dr. Janet Garrett Certified Quantum-Touch Practitioners Orem, Utah
Yes I worked on a person in front of me at the credit union today complaining about neck pain. I ran energy into her traps and shoulders for about 5 minutes and you could just see the relief on her face. I gave her my card and by the time I got to my massage clinic she had already called for an appointment for a massage and the "buzzing hands" treatment lol
