My goal is to fill my practice with committed clients. I need them to be committed to their own healing or I can't help them because we all (should) know that the client is truly the healer. The practitioner is the facilitator of that healing.

My focus the last few months has been my day job because I've been short-staffed. That situation has been resolved and now that my focus is back on my QT practice, I see that it's almost non-existant. (Remember, you get what you focus on -- let me tell you that it works! )

I brainstormed today about what to do. How to build the practice back and get some new and returning committed clients. I settled on a combo of things.

Brian Whetten in his Selling By Giving class, taught me that I need to stairstep clients into the willingness to commit. So if I had just sent my newsletter with an "I'm back! Come see me!" I wouldn't get too far. I also used my vitamin/supplement sellers & grocery stores deal -- buy some, get some free. Then I took my belly dance school's buy a 10-pack of class tickets (at a reduced price) and use them whenever you want and/or share with friends and your first class payment applies toward a 10-pack. I don't remember whose this last one is but the unused portion is refundable. So here are my deals:

1. One-hour complimentary initial wellness assessment and session -- for first-time clients only
2. Buy 5 session Get 6 sessions
3. Buy 10 sessions Get 12 session, perfect for monthly wellness maintenance sessions

If you're not ready for a package, you can start with 1 session which is applicable toward the 6- or 12-pack within 30 days. The package is transferrable and does not expire. It's refundable as well. In other words, and for example, if you decide after 3 sessions that you don't want or need any more, those 3 sessions will be counted at full price and the remainder of your payment will be promptly and cheerfully refunded.

So there's my input. Maybe the model will be of use to you in your practice. Great deals for the client with progressive requests for commitment as the client becomes comfortable with my service and their results. The client gets and remains healthy and whole and I get an on-going client.

Maybe this will work for you as well -- let's do our bit to stimulate the economy -- at least our own little corner of it.
