As I engage myself in any particular session (hands on or distant) most of the time I expereince a sharp tingling painful wave going up my hands upto the elbows which I have to jerk several times and afterwards have to do extensive grounding (which in QT is not required). The comfort I get though is the immediate response of the person (in case of hands on) that the pain is no more... So its like a kind of indication now that as soon as I sort of absorb the pain the receiving person is relieved of pain. I wonder if I am missing something here which is causing temperory pain on my side. Any tips to avoid this?

It sounds as if you may be resonating-entraining with your client's vibrations instead of the other way around. Remember that what we do in QT is to get and maintain a high vibration, and when we sense that entrainment has happened, we elevate OUR vibration again, and again, and again, till the session is ended. If you are entraining to a lower vibration, you may be taking on the client's pain.

I don't know at what level of QT you are working, but keeping your vibration higher than your client's is paramount.

The other thing to remember is that you do not use your own energy! You are drawing energy from an absolutely unlimited supply, by intention and breathing and body awareness exercises.

It's the water that heals...I am only the hose.....to use an analogy.

Perhaps a review of the basic vibration-raising exercises would be of help to you, for starters. YOU SHOULD NOT BE ABSORBING THE OTHER PERSON'S PAIN.....it means that the entrainment is going the "wrong" way, or in reverse, and you are entraining to a lower vibration. Then, remember that the Universe has an unlimited energy supply---you cannot run out! It flows through you, like water thru a hose, or as the Lakota would say, when healing: I am as a hollow reed.

When you are grounding, remember that the energy flow is up through feet and legs, and not the other way around. Use the "what I love most" technique to FEEL the emotion of that love, it raises one's vibration instantly. Detach from outcome...we offer, that's all we do. It's all we can do, just offer. The other person determines what is done with the offering.

I hope I haven't confused you. Keep the vibrations UP!

Love to you.

Thank you Ali. I do make sure to keep the energy flow up. I am a Rekie practitioner and use Basic QT along with supercharging techniques. Still learning Core Transformation I at my pace but not yet practicing it.
I do not feel exhausted or tired with any lingering pain after any session, it is just during the session somehow that the pain is there and if persistent then I do the grounding after the session. I will re-evaluate my practice as per your given suggestions to see if this makes any difference.
Many thanks.
Love and Peace

I have experienced something similar. It (for me) was holding my hands in an uncomfortable position which caused a painful tingling sensation, like my hands were going to sleep. As soon as I figured it out and adjusted positions it was fine. As it turned out, the muscles in my hands, arms and neck were weak and needed to be strengthened.....

Hi, Ali...you mentioned "body awareness exercises" ...are you these done just prior to doing the QT session, or as a matter of general prep/training to have learned QT ? The reason i ask is that i've done QT for awhile now, and sometimes feel that i could increase my vibration level with better awareness of the sweeping through my legs..which sometimes feel "invisible" in the sweep process (can REALLY feel the energy up back, head, shoulders, arms and hands). So are there some ex's that could increase my awareness of my legs, and maybe increase the vib. energy/level of entrainment, do you think? Thanks

Dear Jana and Ali,
Keeping in view your remarks and suggestions I have given a 10 minute session to my colleague suffering from severe migraine and tooth ache today. I have used various SC techniques this time in addition to opening my Rekie. Yet, it happened again! The sudden sharp pain goes up my left elbow, I jerked my hand immediately (as always) and the same time on inquiry my friend reported to have no more migraine and less tooth pain.... I especially made sure of my comfortable posture and hands position along with continuous high flow of energy. Also I always end up with an elastic light bandage on the client.
I have read a couple of other postings where healers are reporting sharp pain in various parts of their bodies while conducting a session. However, from your replies to my post and what I have learnt there shouldn't be any pain on the healer side! There must be something else missing...

Hi Shazia,
I believe we are all emapths to one degree or another and the form our empathy reveals itself differs with each individual.
This sounds (to me) like it might be yours.
If so, there are many ways to protect yourself. Just do a search on this site or on the internet and you will find them.

Unless someone is doing QT on us, we are not the healer. The client is.

Hi all i've gone through both QT & supercharging & it's video. To me QT is simply another form of Qi Gung, having practised Qi Gung for some years. In Qi Gung the various movements we do somehow allows us to harness Qi(energy) and store in the 2nd chakra(Dan Dian)And to be with nature as one it actually means balancing energy within & without.I totally disagree that when we transfer energy to a sick person we'll absorb their negative energy and in turn feel pain & tired all over.In all energy work INTENT is utmost important as the Qi Gung tagline goes "Qi is where your intent is"Now,when are able to balance this energy from within & without and then using our intent(focus)energy is directed to the person for him to heal.Well don't tell your clients this but they are actually receiving your secondhand energy!!You actually get healed and nourished first and then only your client gets it.And mind you, this is a oneway process..ie. IN you OUT to him/her/it... get it?Now who says GOD's not fair and that the healer don't get healed?Well, the reason you get tired is because it's your body's machanism telling your body to rest as self healing can occur only when you're relaxed and in a resting mode.As for the pain and aches they're probably due to problems which you yourself do not know you have.Yes that's why when you do Qi Gung, health problems manifests itself because energy's directed to the problem area. And i really beleive that much of these problems you get after a healing session is also due to preception where while we learn how to do QT we also hear lots of not so nice things. When you think that you'll feel sick after a session that most probably you'll get sick.My advice is just go in with HEALING INTENT and you'll be alright.

Dear All,
I totally agree with replies from you all and belive in the power of intent and positive approach while conducting the sessions. Somehow you are missing the point.... I do not feel tired, exhausted or sick at all; while and after any given sesion but rather energetic, lively and more alert! Its a portion of time during the sessions that the pain comes and mostly go away! If it persists that I do self Rekie and QT to get rid of it. Anyway, thanks alot for the insights and suggestions once again.

Just a few guess but do try to see if this elevates your pain

1) Drink plenty of water before QT session.
2) Try shallow breathing technique. When you feel the sensation(pain) is getting stronger... move your hand a little away from your subject till the pain subdues and do qt from that position.

p.s continuous breathing. energy follows thought

Shazia...

Could it be possible that you are empathic and temporarily picking up the other person's pain so it can be released?

The main point in this is that with QT, we are not removing/allowing release of any painful/blocking/negative issue ... QT transmutes these things, like a caterpillar transforms into a butterfly within the cocoon. The issue is transformed, not replaced. Also, the QT facilitator is NOT the healer...each person/client IS, because all we do is hold "space" with a higher vibrational frequency for the client to entrain to. Their Being is what heals - we don't "heal" others, as is often the philosophy in other modalities.

My own intuitive reasoning is telling me that you are more than likely healing something you were previously unaware of when you are running energy for someone else; hence, feeling the pain, and feeling it move around, only when you're running energy in a session. LFE will automatically clear any blocked paths in meridians and begin working on physical manifestations in the facilitator first (with or without our noticing) - it's like a plumber clearing away debris in a clogged conduit. As we begin assisting others, the quality of Love involved also grows stronger and takes the frequency higher. It's easier to be more unconditionally loving and present for another person than it is to be so with ourselves; so you're probably doing a great deal of self-healing at the same time you are assisting/facilitating for another.

May all your painful sensations clear beautifully for you, and may your conduit for Love and Grace grow larger than your Being.//UNIVERSAL LIGHT BLESSING//
