I would like to help a friend who besides having severe physical pain, has a huge emotional baggage. He is so full of anger and negativity that he is repelling even most of his friends and relatives. He has become an expert to create more suffering to himself and he does not even really know what he wants.
He's been through all medical tests immaginable and prescribed loads of tablets which I'm not sure if they are helping him or actually making him worse.
He knows about QT and he gave me the go ahead to do something if I can. The thing is that he expects immediate permanent results.
He will not tolerate a hands on session for more than 5 minutes so I did some distance sessions and I think he took the energy well.
Anyone familiar with Eckhart Tolle's teaching would say he is totally identified with his ego and has a very active painbody.
Any tips and insights welcome

Anger often gets stored in the liver, resentment in the gall bladder. So you might direct QT to those areas. Then, often anger is a cover-up for sadness or heartbreak. I've had a lot of guys as clients who were 'taught' in elementary or middle school that crying or sadness was a sign of weakness. So don't forget to treat the heart chakra/chest area.

Also, have him download the free info at www.emofree.com for EFT instructions. This tapping process uses acupuncture points while you acknowledge the 'problem' then say something positive about yourself. In the beginning, he might see the problem as everybody else: 'even though ... makes me so angry, I am doing the best I can' for example.

"especially due to language complications"

Good idea Kweden. How bout taking it one step further, ignoring language and using old fashioned slap-stick, or cartoons with no dialogue?

Think that may help?

Hmm... banish with laughter. It might help to get him to forget himself and his problems for a while.
I agree with Holly about extra work on the heart area.

Try doing distant EFT use my tapping chart and imagine your buddy tapping himself saying all things he is angry about and everything that hurts.

You might be surprised at the results you get if you are diligent.

Thanks Everyone,
All your advice is valid.
Its been known by all and underestimated that laughter is the best medicine.
I did use EFT occasionally on myself but did not occur to me that it can be incorporated with distant sessions. Smiler Big Grin Wink

Really Kwenden, if someone is not aware of the benefits of laughter therapy by all means, enlighten them. Give them some web sites to check out. Give them some facts.
But these comments are not constructive for anyone.

And please don't go attacking me next. Just play nice.
Nicky, I have had great results blending EFT with QT for distance sessions for emotional as well as physical issues. And remember to be patient - somethings take longer to resolve. But I'm sure if you are persistent your client WILL improve.

You must have me confused with someone else Kwenden since I've been practicing laughter therapy since 1969.
I see no skeptic scoffs by MarkL or anyone else.
Your really reaching for something with your question about religion, but I don't know what. Why do you choose to bring that into a simple request to not be so vulgar or offensive on a public forum?
Why do you feel like you're being "attacked" because someone else suggests that you offer helpful information rather than why you did offer:

dirty-faced head-in-butt sheep in a line train
brown nose
poop in your ears . . .

Nicky, I apologize for veering you post away from your original intent. By the way, you can incorporate laughter in with the QT - works wonders too.

While not in the basic EFT manual,
surrogate, remote, distance, and mental EFT are all used by many seasoned EFT practitioners and beginners as well. These forms of EFT are accepted and mentioned in almost all of Gary Craig's newsletters. Gary posted an article I wrote on surrogate EFT in one of his newsletters.

Steve,

Your tip on using Surrogate EFT is great, very helpful and good.

From your article: http://www.emofree.com/Articles2/frustration-stress-surrogate.htm

I am visually tapping all the EFT points starting with the PR spot. I then imagine the EFT points all blinking on and off like a traffic signal.

Thanks Smiler

Hi guys
EFT is great for some things and works really well when the person being worked on is not "reversed in polarity".
I have used EFT myself very successfully, but when it came to saying the words "I deeply and profoundly love and accept myself" Any remedy or clearing did not take place! I went to a professional EFT practitioner to gain some answers as to why I was not getting anywhere.
His response was that the issues involved need to have really good detective work done. Kind of like peeling an onion. You have to ask questions, ask, ask, ask, until finally you get to the core issue that has held the persons polarity around the wrong way! Some things need someone who really knows how to DIG the core issue out.

Just my two cents worth on EFT.

Unconditional LOVE is a VERY Powerful Remedy for Depression.

Thanks for the tapping chart - I will use it now combined with chart called ABC of EFT. I use EFT a great deal and combine it very satisfactorily with QT which I love doing. I also use surrogate EFT and have success using it on crying children (at nursery school) and changing the atmosphere with a surly son!!! I have also used it on a barking dog that was very annoying!!

The QT creating reality technique is a very powerful technique and I use that on a regular basis.

Don't you love all these options we have??

Wendy

Kweden Hi,

I use the creating reality technique from QT Supercharging book/course more and more in my healing work. For example I am helping someone with cancer at the moment. She was battling with big cracks in her hand from the chemo. I sent distance healing - in my mind's eye I visualised her hands outstretched towards me inside the Unaan pattern from Supercharging, sent in some specific colours to help and "saw" the hands as beautifully smooth and pinkish and the skin looking healthy. I saw her yesterday 3 days after doing this and they were smooth and pink and no sign of cracks. Now whether that was a natural progression of the chemo working out her body or whether it was with the help of the visualisation I will never know but it works so consistently for me on a regular basis that I just trust it to do so. I have many other examples that have happened that have helped me trust in this process.

I have written before on the message board about reducing blood flow to surgical sites during operations and used the same technique for that. I use it for awkward or tense situations and finding parking places and don't always use the full technique - just state what I need to happen and trust that it will. Sorry not to explain it better - its just so part of my life and when I do it my life works and when I don't things start to go awry!!!!

Hope this helps - will look through the books and source it for you.

Best wishes to you and thanks for the enquiry.

Love
Wendy

wendyp I had an experience last year, when my dentist sent me to an oral surgeon to have a back tooth removed, that needed special attention in the waiting room i visualized my tooth to be coated with teflon for an easy removal, and also visualited the socket as smooth and no bleeding. I had to tell the dentist what i was doing after the tooth came out, as i was left alone for 4 or 5 minutes with a guaze pad in the socket. The tooth came out as if it were coated in teflon and there was a spot of blood on the pad about the size of a dime. Much different from my past experiences. Try it, it works Gord58

Hey Gord

That's sooo cool. Isn't it fun to do? I can clear any blocked nostril I may have by imagining my nasal passages being scraped with a kind of paint scraper. If that is taking too long I imagine little hammers like in a piano hammering on the inside of of my sinuses and within a few seconds I can feel them unblocking. This technique was one of the first I experimented with when trying out visualisation.

Keep the stories coming people.

Love
Wendy
