I am grateful to read the info on this website.
As a nurse I am frequently asked about nutrition and have always look outside "traditional medicine" for natural cures.
I strongly support the raw food movement and juice as often as possible. I practice hands on healing as well.
I am in the mental health field and work with drug addicts. Does anyone have any ideas that might help these clients?
A great number of them are detoxing from alcohol and prescibed pain medications. Some are detoxing from heroin and designer drugs...
Any feedback about natural treatment would be appreciated. I can't tell you how much pain and suffering the families of these clients experience as well as the clients themselves.

Hi Bettyg, a short answer for a start is:
"QT on client's head"

It will prbably work also on your healing hands technique.

Hello Betty,
QT is a great detoxer: in addition to QTíng the head, it's also good to focus on the adrenals, kidneys and liver to assist the detox process. The lower back is a good area for heroin addicts in detox phase, as a cluster of opioid receptors are there.

Advanced QT (supercharging) could be very helpful too. The 12 colors and emotional healing with the U-NAN would help restore their physical, emotional and mental balance.

IF you are able to teach them QT, they could QT distilled, filtered or mineral water and drink 2+ liters a day of it to facilitate the detox.

As far as recovery goes, doing a full QT session, starting with the usual occipital and cranial bones, balancing the hips and then QT-ing the brain, liver etc once-to-thrice a week would be very supportive to their physical and emotional healing.

We'd love for you to share QT stories once you get going.

Many blessings,

Alfred

In addition to the excellent advice given here, I'd suggest working with the immune system to bolster their overall good health and reduce inflammation. The stresses of detox are MUCH easier to cope with when the rest of their system is operating in as high a capacity as possible.

There are so many facets to working with addiction that it's difficult to detail them all in a single post or even thread. That said, there is no doubt that applying your loving intention and a lot of energy can go far to getting them to where they are no longer addicted.

In my own practice, a combination of QT, TAT, numerous healing intentions, the Quantum-K video, diet and lifestyle changes have all contributed to success with addiction and alcoholism. When dealing with these issues, you're working with an extremely complex soup of physical and emotional issues.

Best of luck in the practice!

That is great advice, Trane, and your post reminds me to point out that the lymphatic system is another good focus for detox.

Blessings,

Alfred

All the above, absolutely and on the diet side, Kelley Eidem's book - The Doctor Who Cured Cancer.

This doctor apparently not only treated cancer, but also set up a clinic for addicts of all kinds and apparently the detoxing process following his dietary recommendations was without any sort of withdrawal symptoms at all......

Love and light,

Donna

And in addition to all the above, I recommend Bach Flower Essences, excellent support for addiction recovery. Since the essences work with the principles of resonance and entrainment, they are a great addition to hands-on energy work!

I've been working with a wide range of people in the last 6 months and ALL are getting benefit.

I hope this helps....
