I've been practising QT for about a year now. From the time I picked up the QT book I was able to feel myself sweeping and breathing, I could feel the energy in my arms and hands and I could feel where I was sending the energy.
I recently picked up the Supercharging QT book by Mr. Alain. I began practising the Amplification Technique and the 12 Color Meditation, but I've begun to have a very hard time visualising anything and my kinesthetic responses are dithering. I can't feel the energy coming through me as I sweep and breathe, I don't feel it in my arms, and I only feel a bit of heat in my hands. I rarely feel the energy meet, and I'm having a hard time Amping up. As for the visualization, I've been told to use my imagination until the vision and feeling comes, but it still hasn't. I've been working on Allowing, but what else is wrong here? |

Trying too hard? Consider just backing off for a bit. Don't think about it. Don't TRY. If you're trying and worrying about it, your energy is going into TRYING, and that will make it very difficult to be DOING. Trying and doing are way different!
If you're TRYING to do something, you are attached to that outcome.....you have an outcome in mind, a goal that you are striving for. Trying to do what? Become the observer, watching from a distance, seeing whatever comes, come. Wait and just observe, accept what comes....then you are getting into an "allowing" frame of mind. Don't anticipate a certain outcome, or certain sensation, or certain anything. Be the mouse in the corner, the fly on the wall, the person in the movie theatre, waiting to see what will appear on the screen. You missed the marquee when you entered the theatre, so you are awaiting the start of the movie, with no expectations. Enjoy whatever appears. It sounds like you are trying "to visualize something." That is a sure way to prevent visualizations...just stand back, wait, and observe...that is a different mindset from "trying to visualize something." You see the difference? Trust that something will come, something that will be meaningful or useful or odd or curious or a mystery! No expectations of outcome. I hope this helps!! Love to you. Alice H. Long story short, I went back and experimented to see just how Reiki felt. I then combined Reiki and QT and felt the differences and similarities. By separating the two and setting aside the Reiki energy, I felt just how QT should feel. It's still not as strong as what I used to feel before, but it's definitely coming back. Thanks Alice!
