RE. difficulty affecting misaligned bones/spine.
"I have been much more consistent with moving bones with the Core work vs the basic and SC techniques particularly when aligning vertebra. One of the things that I have noticed when bones seem not to align is the client needs to be somewhat present. That is if they are focused out of their body or in denial about their body, changes are slower to come about. When I have this occur I ask them to think "who am I"? They don't need to have an answer to the question. The act of the thought makes all the difference. Of course in the case of someone that is mentally challenged it would be difficult to have this be a conscious awareness. However you might try working on the feet first to "draw" them back into their body at the end and beginning of a session. Alain Herriott instructor (advanced QT classes) " |

Somewhere, I think it is in Richard's book, is a statement saying that structure moves better during an in-person session. The trouble with moving bones via distant sessions is that you don't have accurate feedback. You can't see feel or measure anything. How do you know, long distance, if hips or occiput changed? How do you tell if a spine alignment changed, when you are on the phone (or not) and cannot see or measure it yourself? How can the client tell, really?
In my experience, clients need to be present for bones to move with any consistency. In my experience bones move better during a hands-on sessions. Any others out there with ideas? Hi Ali, I don't think Alain was talking about distant healing here, he was saying the client needs to be present in their own body. This is from the practitioners message-board so the full reply can be found there.

Creativejani2 has the right of it. But Ali has a point as well. Sometimes, with distant healing, it takes a while for the changes in alignment to show up after a session but they almost always do show up.

Ali, it's my experience that if I just allow the information to come to me, I'll simply know when something is out of alignment. Hands and eyes are but one method of measuring and knowing when things are amiss. Flow and simply asking the body what it needs and waiting for the answer are useful approaches, too.

Hi, remember a tip I posted about hips, a way to see if the hips were aligned is to look at the knees, if the hips are not aligned the knees will show it.One will be "ahead' of the other.
I had a distance session today, a lady sent me an email, she said she was with sciatica pain. I told her to look a t her knees she said the right one was ahead, much ahead. So, as evrybody is afraid to move bones at distance I performed an experiment. I asked my wife to give me a hand, in fact two hands...and we sandwiched her hips. It worked, she sent me a message latter telling her hips are ok, maybe still a little bit out of alignement. She had an apointment but could not make it, she felt asleep after the session, I told her it is nou unusual... Wilson Certified QT P&I Wilson |

It was my impression that when people are actually doing Quantum touch and not something else the bones aligned.
Why would a person trainde in it not have the same results? Woldn't they be doing something else? Wouldn't Alain be able to tell that they are doing something else, since he can see energy? He would see the energy affected, correct? Is this another chi thing that so often works only in the presence of a master? |

Smallfry, My old teacher had one reply when a student told him some tech. didnt work.
" What EXACTLY didn't work?" He would then get all sorts of queer answers! BTW. TO what direction would one move a backbone when it is compressed as in Spinal Stenosis? Huggie |
