I had a look at the website www.naturalnews.com
its VERY good Smiler and found this story about the higher omega 6.
I have heard some things about this Omega 6 that were not so good but could not find evidence to substain this.Now a days you even find Omega 3-6-9 in one bottle.Still have to find out what 9 does.

University Tests Reveal Açai Berry’s Cancer Fighting Power…

In one of the first landmark studies to investigate the health benefits of the açai berry, University of Florida researchers found something remarkable.
When introduced to cancer cells, this popular Brazilian berry triggered a self-destruct response in up to 86% of leukemia cells tested.

Hi Pinky, can you find açai to buy in Netherlands?
Fortunately I love açai, and I'm used to it since I was a kid, cause it is a fruit from the north of Brazil, where my parents came from.

People from the center and south of Brazil don't like it plain, so they mix it with guaraná, another fruit from the north.

As I only heard of the existence of this fruit yesterday I do not know if I can get it here, I guess not as a fruit but maybe in juiceform. I am sure going to look for it. Will let you know.

I just want to add this post to an earlier post of mine, Posted 08 August 2008 (Cancer tips)about Green tea I recently received.

Did you drink your epigallocatechin-3-gallate today?

You did if you drank a cup of green tea.

That awkwardly named polyphenol (better known as EGCG) is one of the key components that make green tea such a healthy beverage.

Researchers at the University of Wales recently tested EGCG on more than 45 subjects who took 400 mg of an EGCG supplement daily for eight weeks, while 42 subjects took a placebo. The study was designed to test the polyphenol's effect on insulin sensitivity, but no benefit was found. However, subjects in the EGCG group reduced diastolic blood pressure and reported more positive mood, compared to placebo.

Other green tea studies have shown that EGCG may help reduce the beta-amyloid plaques that contribute to Alzheimer's, and may even play a role in cancer prevention. But there could be one drawback to excessive EGCG intake.

A few years ago I told you about a UK study in which researchers found that EGCG inhibited cancer cell growth. But this study also showed that high levels of EGCG might reduce folate – the B vitamin that helps protect the heart, relieve depression, and reduce stroke risk.

Of course, green tea drinkers can address any potential folate deficiency by increasing dietary sources of folate (chicken liver, spinach, lentils, and asparagus), and by taking a folic acid supplement. But talk to your doctor before adding folic acid or EGCG supplements to your daily regimen.

Mix 3 parts organic maple syrup with 1 part Aluminum free baking soda ( Red Mill Brand) stir with low heat (not over 120 degrees) for 10 minutes and take 3 tsp per day for 1 to 2 months.

The following chapter comes after 100 pages of text in the Yeast and Fungi Invaders section of the Winning the War on Cancer book. Please note that sodium bicarbonate taken in water alone will have a powerful effect on entire body physiology because of the instant shift into alkaline pH levels.

Bicarbonate can be taken frequently throughout the day with half teaspoons amounts though for long term use lower doses are safer. For cancer patients initial use should be heavy and frequent to force a greater shift because smaller pH shifts can actually stimulate cancer growth.

The bicarbonate maple syrup cancer treatment focuses on delivering natural chemotherapy in a way that effectively kills cancer cells but significantly reduces the brutal side effects experienced with most standard chemotherapy treatments. In fact so great is the reduction that the dangers are brought down to zero. Costs, which are a factor for the majority of people, of this particular treatment are nil. Though this cancer treatment is very inexpensive, do not assume it is not effective. The bicarbonate maple syrup cancer treatment is a very significant cancer treatment every cancer patient should be familiar with and it can easily be combined with other safe and effective natural treatments.

This cancer treatment is similar in principle to Insulin Potentiation Therapy (IPT). IPT treatment consists of giving doses of insulin to a fasting patient sufficient to lower blood sugar into the 50 mg/dl. In a normal person, when you take in sugar the insulin levels go up to meet the need of getting that sugar into the cells. In IPT they are artificially injecting insulin to deplete the blood of all sugar then injecting the lower doses of toxic chemo drugs when the blood sugar is driven down to the lowest possible value. During the low peak, it is said that the receptors are more sensitive and take on medications more rapidly and in higher amounts.

The bicarbonate maple syrup treatment works in reverse to IPT. Dr. Tullio Simoncini acknowledges that cancer cells gobbles up sugar so when you encourage the intake of sugar it’s like sending in a Trojan horse. The sugar is not going to end up encouraging the further growth of the cancer colonies because the baking soda is going to kill the cells before they have a chance to grow. Instead of artificially manipulating insulin and thus forcefully driving down blood sugar levels to then inject toxic chemo agents we combine the sugar with the bicarbonate and present it to the cancer cells, which at first are going to love the present. But not for long!

This treatment is a combination of pure, 100% maple syrup and baking soda and was first reported on the Cancer Tutor site. When mixed and heated together, the maple syrup and baking soda bind together. The maple syrup targets cancer cells (which consume 15 times more glucose than normal cells) and the baking soda, which is dragged into the cancer cell by the maple syrup, being very alkaline forces a rapid shift in pH killing the cell. The actual formula is to mix one part baking soda with three parts (pure, 100%) maple syrup in a small saucepan. Stir briskly and heat the mixture for 5 minutes. Take 1 teaspoon daily, is what is suggested by Cancer Tutor but one could probably do this several times a day.

“There is not a tumor on God’s green earth that cannot be licked with a little baking soda and maple syrup.” That is the astonishing claim of controversial folk healer Jim Kelmun who says that this simple home remedy can stop and reverse the deadly growth of cancers. His loyal patients swear by the man they fondly call Dr. Jim and say he is a miracle worker. “Dr. Jim cured me of lung cancer,” said farmer Ian Roadhouse. “Those other doctors told me that I was a goner and had less then six months to live. But the doc put me on his mixture and in a couple of months the cancer was gone. It did not even show up on the x-rays.”

Dr. Jim discovered this treatment accidentally somewhere in the middle of the last century when he was treating a family plagued by breast cancer. There were five sisters in the family and four of them had died of breast cancer. He asked the remaining sister if there was anything different in her diet and she told him that she was partial to sipping maple syrup and baking soda. Since then, reported by a newspaper in Ashville, North Carolina, Dr. Jim dispensed this remedy to over 200 people diagnosed with terminal cancer and amazingly he claims of that number 185 lived at least 15 more years and nearly half enjoyed a complete remission of their disease. If you go to the website www.know-the-cause.com, Doug Kaufmann talks about fungus and cancer. He has interviewed Dr. Tullio Simoncini a couple of times, and if you click on shows, you will be able to listen to his interviews with Dr. Simoncini.

According to Doug Kaufmann, and some of the guests he interviews - some being doctors - most illnesses are fungal related. He says that wheat is commonly contaminated by fungus because of the way it is stored, corn is completely contaminated as the plants cannot resist mold and fungus. Plus yeast in bread increases this fungus load on the body. While antibiotics have a good side, they also have a bad side. Dr. Simoncini says that tumors in the body are white and that they are fungal. He has had a lot of success treating the tumors with bicarbonate of soda (pharmaceutical grade) and he injects this mixture into the tumor itself. IMPROVE YOUR PH

For those who are finding it a challenge to eat a more alkaline based diet, or who travel often and/or are in situations where Green Food choices are not very available, here is what we do:

4 products:
Red Desert Clay - Available in tablets as well
pH Green Alkalizing Powder
pH Blue Alkalizing Mineral Powder and
Nutrex Spirulina tablets.

The clay and powders can be mixed in a glass of water and the tablets can be taken anytime as well, for a very alkalinizing drink on the go. We take anywhere from 8 to 15 tablets of the Nutrex Spirulina at a time, sometimes 2 or 3 times a day when travelling - for added protein, beta carotene, caretenoids).

These 4 products together are VERY VERY good for alkalinizing and removing acids from the cells. If you can use the pH Water Booster as well, this will increase the pH of your water 500 times.

WHAT CAUSES ACID IN THE BODY

The primary cause of an acidic condition in your body is from what you put in your mouth. In other words, what you eat and what you drink. And it isn't how "acid" something may seem when you eat or drink it. It has to do with what is left over when you digest it.

Specifically, does eating or drinking something leave behind an acid or alkaline "ash". For example, I don't know about you but I love seafood. Scallops are one of my favorites. However, when your body digests scallops, it leaves an extremely acid ash. In fact, scallops are one of the most acid foods you can eat.

Fortunately, it is pretty easy to immediately change your pH for the better and make it more alkaline. The first step is to understand which of the foods you are eating and the drinks you are drinking are acid and which are alkaline. Then it's simply a matter of eliminating some of the more acid foods you are eating and adding in more alkaline foods.

However, before you start, it's important to get a baseline of what the pH is in your body so that you can see how you are improving or if you need to continue to eliminate more acid foods and add in more alkaline ones.

You can do this by testing the pH of your saliva on a regular basis. This is really simple to do. More details on how to do this are provided on some web pages I have created for you to help you out. A link to these pages is provided below.

In addition to decreasing the amount of acid foods you eat and increasing the amount of alkaline foods you eat, one of the best ways to immediately begin changing your pH is to drink "green drinks". You can make these by simply adding a powder that is made up of a whole host of vegetables that are highly alkaline to a glass of water.
