Hi All

I am new here. I am not a QT practitioner, but have been working with energy through Tai Chi and other practices. I am thinking of becoming a practitioner.

What i want to know is, having just read the bookand scanning and running energy on myself and my food and water ~ do you encourage me to reply to the heakubg requests of others?

I have more questions, but just this for now!

Appreciate replies.

Shalom

Shalah

Absolutely! This forum and the chat rooms are the perfect opportunity to start doing distant healing right away!

Quantum Touch as you've read in the book is what you want to be doing to practice and develop your skills. The QT CHI is something else.

Blessings,
Alfred

Thanks for the replies Wendy and Albert,

Based on the encourage of the two of you, I have responded to two healing requests with the experience of it being something really BIG.

It seems that I like the component of making a written reply to a healing request. I think that those who request healing might like to hear that their request is being worked on. Also I am feeling that I have a bit of expectation that I will hear back about good results ensuing.

I am wondering if that is an attachment to outcome.

In the book is a list of 10 resonance factors
#4 remember your intention
#6 hold high expectation
#9 let go of attachment to outcomes

I mean I really do have an intention of helping, I do expect that my work will help. Yet part of me, and maybe this is partly because it is so early on for me, would like some feedback, you know, some evidence that this work is really effective.

What is the balance between being unattached to outcome and the need to be "scientific" practical.

Shalom,

Shalah

Don't worry Shalah, it is human to want to know of progress being made. Although it does mean you are a bit attached to outcome it sets up a bond between you and the receiver which ,I feel< can only strengthen the connection between you, which in turn can enhance the outcome. That is my personal opinion. but I still like feedback. Indeed feedback gives us more information to work with and we can refine our intentions accordingly while remaining unattached to outcome. In a way a scientist cannot make new discoveries if he gets no feedback from his experiments to see where he needs to change his focus. In hands on healing we have the immediate feedback from the client so that we can "chase the pain" and when I am doing distance work I like still to have contact with the person so I can have this feedback.

In the beginning it is really great when one has positive feedback that we have made a difference to someone and almost validate the work - like "so this stuff actually works!!!!!" kind of thought - I have had those thoughts many times.

So don't worry - you are doing great. Relax, have fun and enjoy hearing from those who reply and keep sending to those who don't. You will find that most people love you to post that you are indeed working on them. It feels special to know someone cares enough to post a reply.

Its a great ride - hold on tight - many surprises to come.

Love
Wendy

Yes, Shala, Wendy is absolutely right. It is always gratifying to learn of a positive result, and especially starting out, we need to know that something actually transpired to support our wanting to continue. At the same time, we have to acknowledge that we don't want to place any sense of obligation on the people we offer energy to respond to us when they've got sometimes major life issues to wrestle with, and we don't want them to feel under pressure to report good or immediate results as a way to keep us working with them.

My recommendation is to do as much hands on and distant healing as you have time for. The hands-on gives immediate feedback, so is especially great for beginning QTers. Then getting yourself a distant QT buddy to practice trading offering energy in the chat rooms is a great idea to, because you can get immediate feedback of the energy being felt from a distance.

The more you do, the more feedback you'll get, so you won't be as invested in one person's feedback. Also, you'll get better at it faster!

Best wishes on this great journey!

Alfred

shalah----If you want feedback you can arrange with the client to talk to you on the phone, and with earphones or a speaker phone you can keep in touch as you send energy. e.gif you are working on someones shoulder, they might tell you the pain has moved to their arm, then you can immediately move your hands to their arm and see what they say next. with phone rates at a few cents per minute, it costs little to get instant feed back. Ana, I will do some sessions for your husband. As always, the intention is for the greatest and highest good. Can you give us any idea of his age and what the problem is?

Also, I am going to copy and paste this message to the Healing Requests Forum, because more people will see it there. Many people read the requests there and will be doing sessions silently also.

Blessings to you, and look for replies under the Healing Request forum as well as here.
