Recently when I worked on a client(I was sandwiching her hands), she started burping, and it seemed to go on forever until I stopped. It was a little amusing, but I tried not to show it and just told her to "let it all out". What was happening, was it a result of QT?

Usually we'll never know what really was going on... does that person tend to burp? Does she eat very fast? smoke? These factors tend to cause you to take in air that gets trapped and later create burping. Maybe it was all this trapped air releasing out. Whatever the case, you did a good job!

hmmm that's interesting. I notice a lot of times I'll burp a bit while doing QT.
I also do sometimes when I roll over on my side a certain way. And no I don't eat fast, or smoke, and don't burp often unless I'm doing QT or stretching. Ven |

Thanks for the ideas all! I guess getting air out is good anyway, so no harm done there :P
anto: I am not sure of her background as it was a free therapy and we only had a short conversation. I am still quite new to this, so wasn't sure what to ask about her. Now I will remember to ask a little about their health background. I do notice that when I do yoga(also involves stretching like venice mentioned), I tend to have air going out either way too hehe ------- ~Every day I live, is God's gift to me. Menkaure,
You and my daughter! Seriously though. Perhaps she has a sensitive stomach or diaphram? My husband suffered a week of hiccups after having pain meds ( as a cancer patient) changed from IV drip to pills. Maybe her body is simply sensitive to the changes it was going through to heal? |

Lovely drawing! Is it you? Drawn by yourself? Re. burping and other 'bodily' actions that might (or might not) occur when working with a client. Be aware that either of you can burp, yawn, have gurgly tummies (from very soft gurgles to huge rumbles)and also have the occassional well, how do I say this politely...ehm.. expel air from your bottom..
