when i'm doing my energy sweeps|

i know you have to be totally relaxed, but i'm having trouble running my energy sweeps when i'm standing, if i'm sitting down it's pretty easy. Also i have problems with alot of shaking in my left hand, and just a little bit in my right hand while i'm running energy. I've been practicing every day but i still get the shakes.
I have another question i work in a very noisy warehouse does that have an effect on my energy?, i do wear ear plugs and I've gotten used to the noise but it does get annoying a little. It's hard for me to leave a good paying job especially in these hard times when good jobs are hard to find. Peace and love to all |

Aaron - when I have really good flow, I sway slightly - your hands shaking may just be how the energy manifests in you. And sometimes - depending on the position I'm in, I have trouble feeling the flow. But - I think I have finally learned to trust becasue even if I'm not "feelin it" but I am INTENDING it, it still works. Sometimes I think that QT works in spite of us (our fears, reservations and doubt) and not BECAUSE of us. Just open that door to the flow a wee little crack and they she goes!! It's like pulling your finger out of the dike! Once it starts, it makes it's own way. At least that is how it is for me. But - it's taken me some time to recognize this...
Now - about the job. Random, chaotic noise IS hard on you - even with earplugs you feel the vibration. If you are able to breathe and sweep while working, you should be able to keep your own vibration up as a protection. Breathe and sweep for a few minutes before you start work, on your breaks and especially after work to shake it off and raise your vibration back up to where it belongs. With QT, doing your job should be much easeir on you!!! Aaron - you are doing great!! You ask really good questions and you are growing. |

In my experience, I don't need to be "totally relaxed" to do this work. What we are doing is getting and maintaining a very high vibration, and that is not exactly a "totally relaxed" state. When we have done meditations for healing in chat and other places, the meditations are not intended to be for calm, blissful, flaccid relaxation! The meditations are intended to focus and amp UP the vibrations! We are getting and maintaining a high level of vibration. The client resonates with that and entrains to it. THAT is the principle of QT, not blissful relaxation.
We do a lot of this work standing up. I will sit for my own comfort if needed, of course, as when working on a person's foot in my lap. I do most of it standing up, because I use a table much of the time. Sitting down can slow the flow of energy for me...I feel it best when standing, like a level of warmth, light, or a level of flowing water that just fills me rapidly from my feet upwards as I breathe and sweep. Sitting down puts "kinks in the pipe" for me...flow is best in a straight hose or pipe. A person can get drowsy, sitting. Drowsiness is not conducive to keeping one's vibration up. Think "alert," not relaxed into oblivion, dullness, and sleepiness. You have to be alert to perceive subtle feedback from your client or your own intuition, otherwise you miss it all. The best combination is relaxed but focused, relaxed but alert at the same time, relaxed and in an allowing state of mind. Know that your mind WILL wander, and learn to RECOGNIZE that your mind has wandered, and bring your attention and focus back to the session. Recognition is the secret. Keep your antenna tuned in, scanning for clues, focused. Drifting off into mellow relaxation won't do it for me. My client deserves my full attention, what Richard calls "giving it your all." I need to be alert & focused to do that. Extraneous noise can be a distraction, with that I will agree. There are sounds that enhance one's vibration...Toning, certain music, and sounds of Nature, for example, raise the vibration. Is there a visualization that you could use to transform a jarring sound into a vibration-enhancing sound? Could you change a sound into a color in your mind, relate that color to a chakra, and spin it up faster? Use what you have...transform it into something you can use, rather than just being annoyed. Is there a red noise? Or a yellow sound? What sounds are blue? Visualizations and transformations! Does a workplace sound evoke an odor? It's another vibration....transform it and use it. Do you have the ability to recognize a sound that is distracting, and then allow it to recede away from you, to mute or fade into the distance? Visualize the background sounds registering on a meter, a dial with a needle & a number scale. The meter has a volume knob. Visualize your hand turning the volume knob down, and see the needle reading decreasing. Most of us find it very difficult to be "totally relaxed" as we go through our day, but that isn't needed to do QT, thankfully! Tune out or set aside what is distracting you, to the best of your ability, and try to use what's left to enhance the work. Transformation is what much of this work is about. Remember, blissful swooning relaxation isn't the goal here. The goal is to get and maintain a high vibration, and that is not really compatible with "total relaxation." If you believe that you cannot do this work unless you're totally relaxed, you will very likely have difficulty doing this work. When you learn the Core Transformation work, you will go to a quieter place, and will be working from a different kind of vibration, but when doing Basic and Supercharging, your goal is to amp UP the vibration, because if you do not, your client will have nothing with which to entrain, and that is their trigger to healing. Your vibration is higher than the client's at all times until the session ends, (or it should be) at which time you cannot get any further entrainment. It requires some considerable concentration and effort to maintain that vibration, especially in the beginning of your practice. I hope this helps! This message has been edited. I'm gona be real quick, lots of pain on my back, middle, left side, I'm going to stop do do somo self QT.
This is from the book "The Medicine Box", and it goes hand in hand with allowing (AND BEING RELAXED, BUT NOT TOO MUCH..) "The Mild Thought": Do not hold on too tightly bacause that will prevent the chi from flowing properly , but do not let go completely or you will just go limp and fall asleep" Bye, Wilson Wilson |

Thank you for all your help i just want to update everyone that it seems that the energy sweeps are getting easier the more i do it. I believe that i reached a new level mostly in my hands. I'm now learning to trust the energy instead of fighting against it. Which i've been trying to hard. So i got really excited the other day when i was meditating i got my whole body buzzing just a little bit but it was amazing feeling. When Richard says relax your hands he really means it. My hands felt so heavy and i was focusing the energy to them and i had them really buzzing. I know i'm still learning as i am a slow learner when it comes to anything that i try. I'll probably get the workshop videos but it's all in a package since i already have the book, is there anyway i can get the dvd's by themselves? I still have a little problem connecting all 3 (breathing, energy sweeps, and intent). The good news is that i am making progress. Since i reached that level i'm going to try the advanced techniques with the chakras and toning so i hope i can feel the chakras soon. Infact i can feel the energy in my hands really strong while i'm typing right now, without being really relaxed. I'm not sure how that is possible but this is so great. I have question to my beloved readers. I have recently learned QT via video workshop and was practicing the healing techniques on my mother-inlaw. She has acute pain on her feet,toes and the entire area. I managed to heal the pain and take away the suffering buth after 3 hours the pain re-appeared. Can you tell me why and what should I be doing to "GROUND" the pain completely. Am I doing something wrong?

Congratulations on such great results Arun! No, you're not doing anything wrong. It seems that more than one session is required. There are many reasons for this. Body memory and emotional issues are two.
