Well I have read most of the book and got the tapes but not watched them yet -

Practicing running energy but finding it hard to know if I am 'doing it right' - having trouble 'seeing' the energy flow through but definitely getting a 'glowing' feeling in my hand when I finish the run and breath out - much like as Richard describes 'like blowing on hot embers and seeing them glow' , there seems to be a lot in the book about remembering to keep breathing, for me the breathing is ok but i find it more difficult to keep running the energy in my mind ... but my experience seems that the breathing sort of takes over and then energy keeps running because of the breathing - is that usual?

In my experience, the confidence issue is the biggest problem for people who only read the book. In most cases they are doing just fine, but they aren�t sure of themselves. The videos and live classes help tremendously in that regard.

You need not worry about seeing energy. There are a few very rare people like Alain Herriott who teaches our advanced workshops, and he clearly sees energy - then there are the rest of us.

BTW, that�s a great visualization to be blowing on the hot embers, but it doesn�t matter if you visualize well if you are not feeling increased sensation. The breathing as you know is essential, but it really helps to be gathering awareness through your body in various ways such as the basic sweep, chakra charging, vortexing, etc. Bring as much sensation through yourself as you can. It's truly hard to do the work �wrong�. That said, there are skills and techniques to obtain that will improve your sessions for many years to come. The more you practice, the stronger the energy will become and the easier it will be for you to feel the energy on your sweeps. Since you have the video, you might listen to the audiotape �Extraordinary New Ways to Run Life-Force Energy with Quantum-Touch. There is a method regarding a double or triple sweep that might be helpful to you.

Hi Richard,
I have been with QT I'd say close to three years (?)...and never heard of such an audio tape. I take it you spoke. I also never saw it advertized on the web. Could you explain the double/triple sweep? Thanks so much.

Since this thread is from 2003, I suspect the effectiveness of the technique was reviewed and deemed to be less extraordinary than originally hoped. There is no double- or triple sweep in any of the current Basic or Supercharging documentation that I've seen. If I had to hazard a guess, the amplification techniques would likely have replaced the double- and triple sweep. Amplification as taught in Supercharging is remarkably powerful.

How can you tell the year?? The postings only show the month and day on mine....... except the really old posts I've seen, show the year. I don't see any year on the new ones. Am I missing something?

All right so! I must comment on the date/time issue because for all this time I've been a QT forum member, I haven't been able to see the years of the posts either!

So nancy, what do we do?

I just figured it out! All it took was some snooping around. I figured if norman could see something we couldn't, it's gotta be in the settings.

Click "Go" > "Personal Zone" > "Preferences"

And voila! You will see the time settings you have set do not have the year in them. I just changed mine and alas, I can see see them, hooray!

(sorry for the thread hijack, I hope this helps anybody else with the time issue)

Yay!!!!!!!!!! You're awesome I even remember changing it now, but obviously wasn't paying too close attention to the consequences. LOLOL... oy!

... I must've had a moment. LOL!!!

Yay, Anto! Thankyou, thankyou! I've had that problem for months!

The audio tape first was offered on the last page of one of the later editions of Richard's book "Your Healing Hands: The Polarity Experience." I remember reading that offer in 1992 and thinking "Move bones into place with light touch? Naaaaah, that can't be right!" Oh, well: I guess I came around eventually!
