I have watched the QT video workshop with a friend, but not formally taken a class - so that's how new I am! Although I am a reflexologist and have taken Healing Touch and used it on occasion, with good results, I admit I've seldom really felt much sensation.
So, doing sweeps and breathing exercises while practicing QT has been somewhat frustrating. Again, not much sensation; although others say they feel my energy and feel better after I practice QT on them. So, I know I have the energy, I just don't feel it myself. Thinking it would help me feel sensation, I ordered Essence QiGong and have been practicing it daily for 9 of the last 10 days. So, here are the questions: Am I on the right track thinking QiGong will help with feeling sensation? If so, is there an abreviated form I can use before work in the morning? Say 15-20 minutes? I already get up at 5:30 - and getting up 40 minutes earlier is hard on me. My day is already 13+ hrs. and although I am pursuing my passion in taking QT, I need to take care of my personal health as well. I just don't want to spend time doing 40 minutes of QiGong daily if there's something else out there that will work better. Ultimately, I will quit/retire my current job and the related 3 hr. daily drive to follow my passion. Patience and allowing: still working on it! Whining complete! Hello Silverwing. I too am new to Quantum Touch and experienced similar results when I first started practising. I just finished reading Supercharging Quantum Touch Advanced Techniques and found it to be very helpful. Perhaps it will help you also? Best wishes to you!

When I first started with Quantum-Touch, I was much too busy to practice -- or do anything else for that matter. But I really wanted to do it. The best consistent time that I found was my drive to work in the morning. I run energy every morning on the way to work -- with my eyes open, of course.
Of course, driving is your main focus. Pay attention to what's around you and return your attention to healing. It works! Lately my focus while driving has been running energy for myself. Qigong is known to build energy, which will tend to make you more likely to feel it. There are many different styles you could practice, some more involved than others. To streamline the Essence Qigong you can simply do fewer repetitions of each part. Or you could simply do the beginning/ending pose which is very similar to "standing on stake" qigong which we teach in the Core Transformation class.
The more you just practice, (either qigong or simply QT) without worrying too much about the sensation, the more you will be likely to begin to notice the energy. For some people it is obvious and strong, but for many it is more subtle. Having the expection of a more obvious sensation keeps you from noticing the more sublts things.
