I'm quite new to QT, and I've practised on my cat, my son & my Husband.

My Son always pulls away, so I now do it at a distance for him.

However, when I offer QT to my Husband, he'll be sat close to me on the settee, and within 10-15 minutes, he comments that he's getting really hot (it's winter here!) and goes off to sit at the other end of the settee!!

Has anyone else experienced this?

Yes Louey, all the time! Its the energy swirling around that generates that much heat. Compounding that with your own energy from your body, and you can have a virtual furnace.

Some clients I have worked on will open the window in the room during winter so they are cool. Others believe it or not have to have blankets and I'm the one that's sweating profusely.

The point being, you need to do what's most comfortable for your client so they can relax.

I have to say, that my decision to learn QT is down to you (and the others that offered me energy for my migraines recently).

I am in awe at what you have all done for me and wanted to be able to help others the way you've helped me.

I've started off with the book for now, and luckily, I'm finding that I'm improving as I go along.

I'm glad that this heat DH is feeling is normal
