Thanks Everyone! I have purchased the book the the power to heal by richard gordon. Now I know the breathing technics and sweeping. I should have gotten basic before the supercharge, I guess I wanted faster healing and bypassing the basics. Silly me, I should have known better you have to crawl before you can walk. Thanks everybody! I am on my way! I have done some healing on myself and It does work! the pain comes back because I now realize I have not treated the pain for an hour, I just do maybe 10 minutes or so. It is so much I want to try that it is mind boggling. I do not know where to start. I also read in richards book that in healing yourself is not as affeftive as someone else that is doing the healing for you. He also said that it can be done, only it takes longer to heal youself because you are just using your own energy instead of someone else's.

Hi Kenneth and Beverly,
What's cool about distant healing is that, if you're working on a specific area, you simply sit comfortably in a chair with your hands in your lap, then imagine that body part between your hands. In other words, if you're working on someone's low back pain, you don't actually have to hold your hands as if the person was actually standing there in front of you. If you're working on their diseased liver (or any other organ), you can mentally remove the diseased organ (or body part) and hold it between your hands while running the energy. Also, I like to pick a spot between my hands and try to feel the energy from my hands connecting at that spot - like target practice. In my experience, working on myself is noticeably more difficult than working on somebody else. I can work for an hour or more on someone else, but after about 10 minutes of self-healing, I'm thinking of at least a zillion other things I could be doing, so I stop. However, I have noticed that, if I'm working on a recent injury (as in "first aid"), I've found that the pain often resolves in LESS than 10 minutes! Doing QT as first aid is highly effective simply because the injured body part has not yet had time to "accept" the new frequency of the injury. If there were any mantras associated with QT, they would be "energy follows thought", and "trust the process". Take your time, experiment to see what works for you, and watch the magic unfold. I'd like to point out that in working on ourselves, we do not use our own energy. We are still using universal life force energy. The issue is that we do not have a higher state generated by another person to which to entrain. This leaves us in a position of having to settle on whatever vibration we can raise ourself to via sweeping, breathing and intention.
Since we do not have a higher level with which to entrain, the process of raising our own vibration tends to be marginally limited. This, coupled with our belief that self-healing is somehow not as good, tends to slow down possible change. The very best advice I can give you with regard to self-healing is to approach it from the view that there are no limits whatsoever. Truly, the only limits we have are those we impose upon ourself. trane -- // Trane Francks <trane@gol.com> // Practice random kindness and senseless acts of beauty. |
