I just took the workshop this weekend in Pasadena, but the whole time... I couldn't feel any energy. People felt it from me, but I couldn't feel it going out to them or coming in to me. What can I do? I just ordered the Seeing and Perceiving Energy DVD and I sure hope that helps. Maybe I should have come to the forum first - much cheaper. lol. Advice? Thanks!

Welcome to the fambly.
Not what you want to hear, but don't worry about it.
It's called trust. You are trusting in the process.
Also, worry can restrict the flow of energy.
Good that you took the class and got to experience results.
My husband didn't feel ANYTHING in the class and after. Not until a week or two later.
Some people NEVER do but are successful in assisting healers to heal.

I'm sure you get several responses to your concern about not feeling any energy. I've been a member here for 5 years, watched the video workshop, taken the live basic workshop and I rarely feel the energy when I sweep. For an example, when I am working on my sister, she immediately feels heat like a furnace turned on from me. I don't feel anything. So don't give up doing QT just because you don't feel anything. Yes, it is frustrating that one can't but just know its working.

Thanks guys, for the encouragement. I'm going to keep trying, of course, it's early. and someone DID feel the energy. Oh, another question... how long does it usually take for someone to feel the energy when you lay hands on them? I felt something once... I had a longer session of i guess 'generic' energy healing a while ago, and maybe half way through I felt something weird. these 10-15 minute sessions at the workshop... I didn't feel anything. of course, others did. I think this not feeling thing is my own issue. but in general... how long until they feel something?
And on that note... also, how long or how short should a session be? does it depend on how major the problem is? When do you know when it's enough or when you should stop for the day?

It sounds like you're trying really really hard...maybe grasping????? Instead of "trying," could you get to an "allowing" space, where you open to the possibilities...ALL possibilities? You already KNOW that energy and vibration is everywhere, in everything, inescapable, all-inclusive, limitless. You already KNOW that everything is connected....this is ancient wisdom, and now it is modern science that tells us this.

Re: When a session is finished....look up the patterns of energy felt in the hands. That's one part of the book you should know by heart. That's your best feedback, but of course you have to be able to feel sensations in your hands. When no further entrainment can be reached, the session is over for the moment. There is no specified, or best "time" for a session.

Having said that, don't give up if you can't feel sensations in your hands during a session. Run energy with intentions of wonderful universal love, for the outcome that will yield the greatest and highest good....do the "what you love most" technique, do a visualization or two, (vortex) and let it fly! And it will fly.

Stop TRYING. That mindset implies attachment to outcome, and you must put attachment to outcome aside. Start ALLOWING....it is a whole 'nuther mindset! Just feel yourself expand and open, and allow all that wonderful vibration to flow. It is FLOW that you're after and allowing is far better than trying or grasping.

My way of saying it is this: It's the water that heals....I am only the hose. Water=energy......Hose=conduit. Native American healers would say something like: "I am but a hollow reed." Visualize water spraying out of a hose. How does that feel on your hand????

I know this is months after the fact - but I am very new and Spiritfild has asked the Number 1 question I've been tossing around. I know my energy is felt by others because they tell me, and years ago I took a Healing Touch course that I have occasionally used with success. So, it's just frustrating that I don't feel much, if anything, when practicing QT.

Your responses - and I particularly like Ali's "water and hollow reed" analogy - have been of great help. Thanks so much! I will now go to "allowing school" and see where that leads me!

If what you experienced in your eye was a flash or flashes of light, please see your ophthalmologist or other doctor...it can be the primary symptom of the vitreous part of the eye pulling apart off the retina. Light flashes are an important warning, so if that is what you experienced, please, get it evaluated!

I personally have not heard of QT Life-force energy manifesting in that manner...possible, I guess, but it's more likely that it's an eye issue. I am a former Head Nurse on an Ophthalmology ward in a major teaching hospital, so I know whereof I speak.
